~Why I should be promoted~
How do you feel that your time as an administrator has contributed to becoming a super administrator:
In my time as administrator I have handled many different kind of situations. Some of the situations have been easy and some have been a little bit harder that i needed to think about for a longer time. When i deal with situations when someone is rulebreaking, I always make sure that the user know what they did wrong and how to avoid doing that same thing again in the future. I am trying to get staff on by pinging the staff discord so we get more players on the Deathrun server.
What makes you a good candidate for the super administrator team?
Attitude
I always have a positive attitude towards user and staff. If a staff member or user needs help I will gladly help them and share knowledge to my fullest extent. I don't get mad easily so I don't punish users unnecessarily. I am forgiving in most of the situations, but if they exploit for the first time and they kill me I would forgive them and verbally warn them not to do that again. I have also made a lot of friends since I joined the community, especially because I am a very positive guy and I have a good attitude towards everyone.
Teamspeak
I am on teamspeak almost every day and I talk to fellow staff members and other people across the community. If a staff member needs help I tell them to get on teamspeak. When they are on teamspeak i would ask them what they need help with and then explain to them what I would do in that situation. When I am in meeting I am vocal and i make sure that my opinion gets heard and then I stand by my opinion.
Forums
I am on forums every day and see if i find something interesting to post on. I may not post every day but I am checking forums every day. When i find something Deathrun related I make sure to reply to that thread and give my opinion and some constructive feedback so they know what they can improve on. When i handle appeals i make sure to hear both sides of the stories and make my outcome based on the evidence i found and what they told me when i talked to them.
~Staff related questions~
Explain a situation as an administrator you encountered that was an obstacle that required the help of a lead team member but you had to work around it when no lead team member was available:
I haven't encountered any situation that i needed help from a lead team member on Deathrun.
Explain how you would review and handle an abuse report against another staff member:
First of all I would respond with handling so they know that I'm handling it. Then I would look into the report abuse and look at the evidence if they have provided any. Then i would talk to both the reported staff and the user that made the report abuse. After I have heard the full story from both the staff member and the user I would make a decision based on what i have found out from the stories and the evidence in the report.
Accepted
Hello ____
Atfer looking at the evidence and hearing both sides of the story. I have decided to accept this report because what the staff member did was wrong. I will make sure this doesn't happen again.
This have been:
Thank you for making the report.
Denied
Hello ____
After looking at the evidence and hearing both sides of the story. I have decided to deny this appeal because the evidence you provided wasn't sufficient enough and the staff member did nothing wrong.
This have been:
Thank you for making the report.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member bans a user for an excessive amount of time, how do you approach the staff member to ensure that everyone is treated fairly?
First I would check how long the ban was in the rapsheet. When I have seen the ban i would contact the staff member and ask if they think the ban was right and why. After I've talked to the staff member I would help them to make the right decision. I would tell them how long I would ban them for and why. Then i would make the staff member unban them and then re-ban them with the correct ban lenght.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member is dealing with a user but is struggling to do so in an appropriate manner. How would you resolve the situation?
First I would contact the staff member and ask them what they are struggling with. After I get to know what they are struggling with I would guide them through the situation. Then I would tell them how I would do so they know how to handle similar situations in the future.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member accuses another staff member of breaking rules, how would you help resolve the situation?
I would first ask the staff member that is making the accusation for evidence and their side of the story. After hearing the story and seen the evidence I would talk to the accused staff member and get his side of the story. After getting both sides of the story and looking at the evidence I would decide how to proceed based on the evidence and the story. If i see that the evidence is valid I would bring it up in the LT meeting. If I see that the evidence wasn't sufficient enough I would not do anything to the staff members.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member acts in a disrespectful manner towards another staff member and or sparks an argument within the staff team. How do you resolve the situation?
First of all I would break up the argument. Then I would tell them to come on Teamspeak so we can figure it out. When they are on teamspeak i would move them in 2 different spacers and ask for an explanation from both of them. When i have heard the explanations I would bring the staff members together. When i have them both in 1 spacer i would tell them to apologize to each other. After that I would tell them that they should work like a team and respect each other. I would also make sure that this doesn't happen again in the future.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
You spot a staff member breaking rules to the point of harming other users, how do you approach the staff member?
First I would tell the staff member to stop immediately and then ask them to come on teamspeak. When the staff member is on Teamspeak I would tell them what they did wrong and tell them to not do that again or they will be emergency demoted. If the staff member keeps doing it I would emergency demote them and bring it up in the LT meeting.
