Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario: Random Death Match (also referred to as RDM) is when a person is killed without a valid or justifiable reason. An instance of RDM would be that Darling RDM’s Henny because Henny called him stupid.
Give three examples of an acceptable KOS and its scenario:
1. Clarky has called a KOS on Nina because he has just witnessed him killing an innocent without notice.
2. Ross got shot by Clarky, therefore is allowed to call a KOS on Clarky.
3. Nogtog throws an incendiary grenade and has damaged Chuteuk, Clarky calls a KOS on Nogtog due inflicting damage towards others.
Give two examples of unacceptable KOS and their scenarios:
1. Clarky is AFK so Henny decides to kill him.
2. Darling killed Clarky last round then the next round later, Clarky kills Darling for 'payback'.
Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 100 words):
I believe that there are many aspects that you should take into consideration as to why I should be chosen. I will put them into different paragraphs to avoid it from being aids to look at:
Former staff positions and contributions to the server:
As you may be fully aware, I used to be a Community Manager here on ZARP. Throughout my time as Community Manager, I have learnt a lot more skillsets that has not only helped me on my staffing abilities but has also made a very positive impact on my personal life too. These skills are, but not limited to my communication abilities in order to work efficiently as a team, more especially when put under very stressful and sensitive situations where careful decisions must be done.
Another skill would be that I am always willing to listen to others on what questions they may have, concerns or criticism they would like to express in hopes of completely clearing up any misconceptions that could potentially be there. I also used to run the meetings quite a lot, always ensuring that everyone has a voice and policies were followed.
During summer 2019, myself and other members of the CM team at the time worked together on a summer update that I had planned out (
zarpgaming.com/index.php/forum/10-announ...r-update-2019-thread) (
zarpgaming.com/index.php/forum/10-announ...te-2019-announcement) and I believe that this has shown my true passion for the server as the update was based on mainly community feedback with weapon balancing, suggestions and a ton of bug fixes.
I won’t keep rambling on as to my time as a former Community Manager as this may not be as relevant to the server itself but I will mention that I also used to be a TTT Head Admin as well meaning that I had a very strong understanding of the rules and able to work together as a team, I tended putting myself out there as a team leader quite often in managing the staff team and played a part on reviving the TTT server when it was initially moved to 24/7 Minecraft in September 2016. There was a time when drama was a consistent occurrence in the TTT staff team so myself and DEADMONSTOR (big ups) went around to each member of the staff team at the time for their thoughts and opinions and we were very successful on fixing majority of the problems which had put the drama to a halt.
Maturity:
I will fully admit that I’ve had my moments where I may have acted not appropriately, messed about a bit too much however those days are over. I fully acknowledge the stupid things I have done towards my eventual resignation from CM and the silly things I did after I had resigned but I really want to put out there that I have really changed a lot on how I act towards others.
Since my time away from ZARP, I’ve learnt that I need to stop acting quite childish and not taking certain things as serious as they should be treated so I’ve took my time reflecting on this and I am happy to come back as a staff member with a much better attitude and to actually not let others down.
I don’t want to make excuses because how I act still matters regardless however I have not had the best times in life but I have learnt to move on from my own past and to be a lot more mature especially when I am going to represent the TTT server, staff team and the community itself.
I do believe that I have squashed all drama/beef with people that I may have had problems with in the past and just want to continue as someone who can be mutual with everyone at the very least than be seen as someone who is not approachable or doesn’t behave properly but if this simply isn’t true for you personally, let me know.
Activity:
I understand that my activity as it currently stands, is not the best however I have been working with the staff team as to the many problems that are currently going on which I have decided to make this list of issues public for others to express so I can hopefully assist the staff, more especially the owner, into the right path on the revival of the server.
I have been trying my very best to encourage others to log onto the server through this topic, Teamspeak pokes, etc, which though has not done much towards server activity nor my own activity but please understand that I am trying my best to gain activity but it is not too easy when I am stuck in spectator mode and almost no one connects. I would like to also mention that I do not work on Sundays majority of the time so I am able to attend meetings too. In the past however, I was incredibly active on the server, its development in updates and attended the vast majority of meetings.
My current intentions as staff and my passion for the TTT server:
I wish to help in reviving the server, as shown in
this topic. I have always liked the ZARP TTT server, despite its ups and downs which can happen from time to time naturally. As a staff member, I would like to get back on handling reports and moderating the server ensuring no rules are in violation and to ensure that players are aware of what exactly they have done wrong because leaving them in the dust with no explanation may just end up with repeat offences which as staff is something you should to avoid from occurring by clarification.

If there are any constructive criticism you wish to give me, I am more than willing to listen so you can do so by leaving a reply here. Try to keep it civil and respectful, I won’t want a drama fest here. Thank you for taking the time to read my application.
