How do you feel that your time as an administrator has contributed to becoming a super administrator:
Being an Administrator has meant a lot to me as I have learned a lot about what happens behind the scenes to keep the Zarp community running smoothly for its players. I feel as though that my previous experience as an Administrator on both SSRP and on TTT, and my current experience on SSRP will contribute greatly as I have a lot of experience with handling F1's and reports in and out of the game. Becoming a super administrator is a big responsibility and I understand that, and I am ready to take that responsibility.
What makes you a good candidate for the super administrator team?:
Activity
I have consistent activity and try to stay active on both servers rather than more on one than the other. I have over 500 hours on SSRP and I feel as though that proves my dedication to wanting the better for SSRP and the Zarp community as a whole. I am active because I enjoy playing and I'm not just active for the sake of it. I also love staffing which is obviously why I am trying to move up the ladder within the staff team.
Attitude
My attitude within SSRP and the Zarp community is of a high standard and I will continue to keep it that way. I love having a laugh with other members of the community, and I am very friendly and approachable. However, I will take my place when I need to, to keep everything in order and just make Zarp a good place for everyone. I take my staffing role seriously and will continue to do so, to prove my value to the staff team.
Experience
I have a very good experience when it comes to staffing, due to previously being Admin, on both SSRP and TTT, which I believe heavily contributes to my knowledge and know-how of the rules of the server and what is to be accepted/tolerated within the community. I have also learned how to deal with different and difficult scenarios and keep everything in control.
Here are some examples of some appeals I have handled:
Explain a situation as an administrator you encountered that was an obstacle that required the help of a lead team member but you had to work around it when no lead team member was available:
Situations such as players using installed hacks or client-side modifications to gain an unfair advantage are a great example of where I had to work without an LT member present. The first thing I did was submit an AC screenshot for the LT to review when they are back online. I then warned them for MRDM and jailed the player so they can no longer perform actions that would ruin the gameplay of other normal players. Once an LT member came online, they reviewed the evidence and the player was in fact hacking and was banned for hacking.
Explain how you would review and handle an abuse report against another staff member:
I would first ask the user who reported the staff member for any evidence so I can review it. If it is clear that the staff member was breaking any rules or not acting in an appropriate manner, I would talk to the staff member and ask them to explain. If they fail to give a valid reason for why they were breaking rules for example, then I would accept the report. If it was very serious, I would contact HA+ and discuss possible options for the staff member e.g retraining, demotions, etc. If the user fails to provide evidence of the staff being abusive, I would discuss this with the staff member who has been accused and deny the report.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member bans a user for an excessive amount of time, how do you approach the staff member to ensure that everyone is treated fairly?
I tell the staff member that the ban was unfair and tell them how they should've banned the user accordingly. I would tell them to ask another staff member if unsure about ban length. If the banned person makes an appeal, I would accept and reduce their ban to an appropriate length. If they do not appeal, I would obviously leave the ban as it is.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member is dealing with a user but is struggling to do so in an appropriate manner. How would you resolve the situation?
I would ask them if I can take over and ask them to watch as I handle the situation so they can learn for the next time. This will help them become more confident in their staffing especially if there is no other staff member online to help them.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member accuses another staff member of breaking rules, how would you help resolve the situation?
I would ask the staff member who is accusing the other staff member of more information on the situation. I would then proceed by asking the opposing side for their side of the story and attempt to form a verdict from the given information. I would ask for evidence if necessary. If the accused staff member was truly in the wrong, I would have a chat with them and raise this to the other LT staff members. Necessary actions will take place if the staff members have severely broken the rules.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member acts in a disrespectful manner towards another staff member and or sparks an argument within the staff team. How do you resolve the situation?
Of course, I would first ask both parties to calm down and stop arguing as is not healthy and arguments can cause the community to fall apart with each other which is not good! I would DM the disrespectful staff member and tell them that what they have done is wrong, and if the disrespect was severe, I would make other LT members aware.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
You spot a staff member breaking rules to the point of harming other users, how do you approach the staff member?
Situations like these require fast decisions as they are at the point of harming other users. Therefore, I would go to them and freeze them, and take them on to a roof or somewhere secluded. I would proceed to tell them that this will be brought up at the upcoming LT meeting and if necessary I would emergency demote them. Harming other users within the community as a staff member is unacceptable and I would tell them to improve their attitude and read over the staff ethos.
Thank you for reading my Super Administrator application!
