How do you feel that your time as an administrator has contributed to becoming a super administrator:
Collectively, I have months of admin experience and with this being said It's obvious my administrative skills are fine-tuned and users are usually satisfied with my handling. I have done lots of past work for the server and will continue to dedicate myself handling whatever situations come at me. I've also been Head Admin on the server in the past, training and handling staff related problems while also managing the ROTA and spreadsheets.
I have also handled many reports and appeals on the forums (including staff reports during my LT days) and I've never really had any reports made on me for SSRP besides one troll who was cheating and got salty.
What makes you a good candidate for the super administrator team? ( in this part you can go as detailed as you want):
I feel as if I am a good candidate for the SA position for the following reasons:
• My Activity - I am usually as active as possible as shown by my gametracker. My timezone is -8/9 hours behind most, and this means I am usually online handling situations when other staff are not. I also can hop on whenever someone needs me to, so when people contact me I usually reply fast.
• My Dedication - I am and have always been staying dedicated to the server and the work that comes as staff, I always make sure I try to put as much effort as possible in my sits and outcomes on appeals/reports.
• My Personality - I am a friendly, approachable person that is easy to talk to and willing to help whenever its needed, I have always been neutral with most players on the server and have never really had any attitude problems on the server with other people.
• Past Experience - As most people know, I used to hold the Head Administrator rank on SSRP, and I used to be a section moderator on the forums for SSRP as well. I've also held other positions such as TTT Admin, BHOP Mod, TF2 Mod, Mod for quite a few sections on the forums, TS3/Discord Admin, and Community Council.
Explain a situation as an administrator you encountered that was an obstacle that required the help of a lead team member but you had to work around it when no lead team member was available:
More recently during my current time as staff, there was a French, BALD HEADED, gun dealer. This man had a mission and it was to kill everyone. He had just installed some fresh cheats and by spectating him I could clearly see his aimbot. I jailed him for MRDMing and he ended up leaving the server. After submitting evidence of him aimbotting he was punished for hacking when the next LT meeting came around.
Explain how you would review and handle an abuse report against another staff member:
As I have before, I would first approach the situation by reading through the entire post. After this I would probably form my own opinion on the matter and I would bring it up to another LT member's attention. I would have a chat about it with the LT member and after hearing their opinion, I may or may not change my original one. After this, I would contact the staff member in question and discuss the situation with them. If necessary, I would also chat with the user reporting the staff (I may need more evidence, or I may need to clear something about the outcome I wrote). After posting the outcome the situation is handled, I would then request for the thread to get locked and moved to the appropriate section.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member bans a user for an excessive amount of time, how do you approach the staff member to ensure that everyone is treated fairly?
I would first approach the staff member who has placed the excessive ban and inform them that what they did was unfair. I would teach them what should've been done to prevent it from happening in the future. If the user appealed their ban asking for reduction/removal, and I would contact them to let them know what I think of the situation. After forming an outcome and posting it, I would inform the user that I have spoken to the staff member and told them what they did wrong to prevent it from happening again.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member is dealing with a user but is struggling to do so in an appropriate manner. How would you resolve the situation?
I have actually handled a similar situation before with a 2 staff members who I will not name here, but the rest of this will be in confidential tags.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member accuses another staff member of breaking rules, how would you help resolve the situation?
The first thing I would do is ask the Staff member to explain to me what is happening. After gathering info from the staff member, I would politely ask the accused staff for their side of the situation, and make a proper judgement who is in the wrong. If it is a very serious offence, the accused staff might need to be emergency demoted and brought up in the next LT meeting, or if the accused staff did nothing wrong, I would explain why to the reporting staff and make sure everything is clear.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member acts in a disrespectful manner towards another staff member and or sparks an argument within the staff team. How do you resolve the situation?
I would first of all tell the staff member to stop arguing, and if that does not make them stop, I would ask them to talk to me on Steam, Discord, or TeamSpeak. I would explain to them why they need to calm down, and what trouble they can get into for what they have done. If it happens again, I would bring this up to the other LT members so they are aware of the situation and what the staff member did.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
You spot a staff member breaking rules to the point of harming other users, how do you approach the staff member?
If I spot a staff member breaking rules to the point of harming other users, I would instantly TP to them and ask them what is going on, and ask why they are doing what they are doing. Depending on the severity of the rulebreak the staff member might need to be emergency demoted and brought up into a LT meeting where it can be properly voted on, or if it is not as serious I would have to give the staff member a verbal warning for their actions, and explain to them what they have done wrong and make sure it won't happen again.
Thank you all for reading my SA application! Good luck to everyone else applying for any positions across the community this week!
