How do you feel that your time as an administrator has contributed to becoming a super administrator:
Durin my time as admin i have gotten to learn how the server works, how to deal with all sorts of situations. It has learned me how to use the provided available tools to assist me in doing staffing duties on the surf server. I have gotten a perfect understanding of the server's rules and how to enforce them.
What makes you a good candidate for the super administrator team? (in this part you can go as detailed as you want):
I have been staff for quite some time now on surf, during that time i have gotten experienced on the server both gameplay and staffing wise. I am also staff on prophunt for quite some months now and currently hold the Head Admin rank there, so this should show that i have perfect experience and knowledge of doing leadteam/superadmin duties and am willing to expand those to the surf server.
The recent additions to the staff team and possibly in the future even more, with there currently ony being one other super admin, i want to help the server by taking care of the new staff such as training them.
Overall i think i have good activity, last month or so i have been busy with the release of the minecraft server, so i didnt play as much then, but now thats its released i have more time to focus on this server, and get my normal activity again.
I have been able to handle all situations i come across on the server, such as disrespectfull people, assisting people in learning the basics of surfing, just fine. so i feel experienced enough for the super admin rank.
Explain a situation as an administrator you encountered that was an obstacle that required the help of a lead team member but you had to work around it when no lead team member was available:
No real situations like this have happened, i have been able to handle everything just fine. What i wouldve done is contact a leadteam member, explained them the full story in detail, show possible evidence if applicable and then have them deal with it.
Explain how you would review and handle an abuse report against another staff member:
First I would read trough the report and look at the provided evidence. After that I would talk to both parties to hear their side of the story, discuss it with them and then based on the evidence and the stories, I would deny or accept it.
Accepted:
I reviewed your report and have decided to accept it. I will speak to the staff member about this and this will be brought up in the next lt meating.
Denied:
I reviewed your report and have decided that you didn't provide enough proof to take any actions or that the staff member was completely in their right to do what they did and no action will be taken against them.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member bans a user for an excessive amount of time, how do you approach the staff member to ensure that everyone is treated fairly?
First I would ask what the reason behind the ban and the duration is. Then I would say that the ban is too long. I would tell them what a more appropriate time would be based of their past infractions and how they can change the ban duration.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member is dealing with a user but is struggling to do so in an appropriate manner. How would you resolve the situation?
I would ask what the situation is. After I know the situation, I would explain them how i wouldve handeled it myself, how they should handle the current situations and how to improve on it in the future.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member accuses another staff member of breaking rules, how would you help resolve the situation?
I would talk to them in game or on teamspeak based on the situation for both their sides on the story. I would ask the accuser for evidence behind his claims and discuss it with them. If there isn't enough proof, I would say that they would need more proof and i am unable to do anything. If they do have enough proof or the accused confesses, I would look at it and if it shows that the accused really was rule-breaking, I would talk to the accused staff member that what they did is against the rules and that they should know they can't do that and what his reason behind it was. Then during the lt meeting I would bring it up so we can discuss the actions done.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member acts in a disrespectful manner towards another staff member and or sparks an argument within the staff team. How do you resolve the situation?
I would tell the staffmember to be more respectfull. I would ask why they were being so disresprectfull and give tips on how the situation can be handled whilst still being respectfull towards eachother. Then I would bring this up in the next lt meeting.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
You spot a staff member breaking rules to the point of harming other users, how do you approach the staff member?
Depending on how bad it is, I would steak to them in private, teamspeak or just in the admin chat. I would firstly say that what they're doing is against the rules. After that I would ask their reason behind the actions and request them to never do it again. Then I would bring it up in the lt meating and discuss what the staff member did and how bad it was.
