Someone new joins the server, explain how you would show them how to Surf for the first time:
I would tell them their main keys would be a & d and tell them when they're on the left ramp, they have to use d and when they're on the right ramp they have to use a. I would then tell them they want to start at the top of the ramp and start going to the bottom of it to gain the most speed. Then I would teach them the main key that I use which is f3. I would teach them about every mode and how it works and then tell them if they can't complete any levels I would tell them to use the unreal mode as it gives a big speed boost.
Explain what you would do if someone was Text/Mic Spamming:
I would first give them a verbal warning to chill out and stop spamming text/voice chat. If they carried on after my warning, I would mute them for 10minutes globally and if they carried on after that mute I would mute them for longer and if they still carried on, I would get an admin to give them a break.
Explain how you would deal with someone using an exploit on the server:
If someone was exploiting, I would spectate them first to double check, if they were definitely doing it then I would tell them to stop and if they carried on and it was blatant, I would get an admin on to ban them.
Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 75 words):
I think I should be chosen because there aren't many staff members on Surf and I think I would be a great candidate. It would help out new players to gmod or new players to surf as many people tend to ask staff first if they're online and some people think that if theres no staff on, no one can help them. Another reason I think I should be chosen is some information regarding helping people out is only available to staff and I want to help everyone out with as much as possible and if being staff is the only way then I have to try it out. I will also have a very good/helpful attitude when helping people out. Finally, I know my activity isn't the best right now but I do promise to improve even if I don't get staff.
