Why are you interested in being part of the Community Council?
I would like to be part of the Community Council as it would give me something extra to do in my spare time, it is nice to be able to contribute to the community and to see myself leaving a lasting impression on something. I have been part of the community for a very long time, so my experience will allow me to contribute further than others might be able.
What role do you intend to carry out as a member of the Community Council?
We recommend outlining the role, why you feel it will help the Community Council and how you will carry out the specified role
I am unsure what you would officially title this role, I was thinking something more along with the lines of "SSRP Information Manager". I would keep on top of making sure information both on and off of the server is correct. An example of my position would be to update and manage the "
SSRP Information Thread", I would also be able to go around forums and cherry-pick guides to put in one place for users to go to for information when and if they need it. I would also be able to push for better visual information in-game for users.
Why do you believe you should be selected for the Community Council?
I believe I should be chosen for Community Council as I am a very outspoken member in the community, I am not afraid to voice my opinion in meetings on topics or users and will gladly be able to do the same in Community Council meetings. I have been staff on a vast majority of the ZARP services, I feel like the Community Council will be a nice change in how things work. AS I mentioned earlier in the application I would like to leave a lasting impression on the community I have played since I was 13, a lot has changed in the 7 years I've been on ZARP. The Community Council would be an excellent opportunity for me to do so.
As for my role to add to that, I have made many guides in the past and want to continue to do so. I believe I do them in a clear and concise manor, and also attempt to do them visually for those who learn better with images. One example of my most recent guide would be my "
SSRP Binds" guide. In this guide I showed users how to create beginner level binds to help them on SSRP, in the future I intend to make a higher level version with .cfg files and more in-depth examples.
Unfortunately the one thing letting me down is my failure to represent the pointshop servers, which I believe is what is wanted currently. I cannot offer much in the way of helping there, but if I get the chance to I certainly will. I am active on the Teamspeak server and am always available to contact on Discord so I am easily reachable, I also aim to get on the SSRP server at least once a day to help with reports or to just generally play.
Thank you for taking the time to read my application for Community Council and I hope you consider me!
