Have you ever been administrator/moderator on any other communities? Own servers excluded.
Yes, I was a higher-ranked admin on "Disorders" CS:S community. I've never been admin on a Garry's mod server though.
What is your current rank?
Regular player.
Knowledge of the rules
What means NLR? Give atleast 1 example situation.
NLR is short for: "New Life Rule"
NLR means that when you die, you "start a new life", remembering nothing from your previous life.
NLR is basicly, if you die, you have to wait atleast 3 minutes before going back to the place of your death.
Example: John was raiding Bill, but failed, leading to Bill killing him. After spawning John goes back and continues the raid, breaking NLR.
What means RDM? Give atleast 1 example situation.
RDM is short for: "Random Deathmatch"
RDM means, that you're not allowed to kill any players, without a valid RP reason.
Example: Bill walked down the street when he saw John. Bill then shot John, because he was talking funny, performing RDM.
What means metagaming? Give atleast 1 example situation.
Metagaming is not being able to differentiate between IC (in character) and OOC (out of character).
Metagaming is also using information you've gotten OOC, and use it for your advantage IC.
Example: Bob sees that John has printers, through a spark in the wall, he then types in OOC: "Hey cops! John has printers!", hereby metagaming.
Metagaming is also doing stuff that would be completely impossible IRL, fx: seeing printers through a spark in the wall.
Example: Someone quickly going through a no-collided wall, then shoots his raider in the head, and then quickly goes behind the no-collided wall, hereby metagaming.
Consequences
What would you do if a player breaks NLR?
If I know he did it I would talk with said person, and explain NLR to him, depending on his attitude, he might get a warning for it.
If I'm not sure if he did it I would talk with both the accused, and the victim of it. Depending on both of their attitudes, and their stories of what happened, the accused might get a warning.
If someone continously breaks NLR (and possibly other rules), a kick would ensue. If he keeps coming back on the server breaking rules, I would call for a higher-ranked staff member. If no higher-ranked staff member is on, I would try to start a voteban on him.
What would you do if a player breaks RDM?
If I know he did it I would talk with the accused, and explain that you can't just kill who ever you want to. I would afterwars give a warning.
If I'm not sure if he did it I would talk with both the accused, and the victim of it. After hearing both of their stories, I would make my decision if I should warn him or not.
If he's continously RDM'ing, I would kick him, if he comes back on the server and keeps minging, I would call for a higher-ranked staff member. If no higher-ranked staff member is on, I would try to start a voteban on him.
Requirements for candidating
Do you have a microphone?
Yes, yes I do.
Can you be online atleast three/four days a week for atleast a few hours those days?
I sure can.
Are you 14 or higher?
Yes, I'm 16.
If you don't follow the rules yourself you will get demoted and banned if needed you understand, you will dedicate to a training program and have answered each questions personally. Copied applications will be denied at once. Do you understand?
I fully understand.
Will you respect all players in both respect as disrespectful behaviour?
I will always be completely professional in my actions, and I will respect all players, no matter how annoying they are.
My plea for moderation
What is your added value to the community apart from taking care of grievers? (atleast 150 words)
Apart from knowing all the rules of Zarp, I'm also very responsible, and I'm always professional in my acts, I never let my personal feeling effect any of my actions as a moderator. I'm also clear in my voice, so people wont have a hard time understanding what I'm saying. I can speak all of the Scandinavian languages (if needed ofcourse. xD). I'm friendly, but I'm strict about the rules. I don't have any problems getting my statement out, and I wont be conducted by "funny" rulebreakers. Since I've played about 350+ hours of DarkRP, I know basicly everything about it, so if anyone has any trouble, they can PM me, and I'll gladly help them, RP related or not. I'm always willing to learn new stuff, and add other peoples knowledge to mine. My added value? Well, I can promise you this: I'll be very active, and I wont give up. :3
Have you had enough community bonding so far?
Well, this question can really differ, some people will say yes, but some people will probably say no. it's mroe about how much bonding I've had with induvidual people. Because no matter how hard you try, someone is going to say no to this, because you can't bond with everyone.
But, I would personally say yes.
What do you expect from your mentor/training (atleast 150 words)?
Well, we can't expect the world, now can we? I do expect my mentor to have been in Zarp long enough, to know how it all goes, I expect him to have experience with the Zarp community. I expect him to know how to handle tricky situations, and teach my his "tricks" xD. Even though I know all the rules, I expect him to learn me more, cause I can't possibly know everything. I expect him to learn me all of the commands a moderator has (even if there isn't that many). I expect, that after we're done training, I can succesfully go on a quest to become the best moderator ever! xD And then someday, maybe even become actual admin material. I would like to become so good, that some people actually starts looking up to me, as what they're trying to achieve when they make their moderation application.
Your friend, and hopefully future moderator
