How would you handle a TS3/Discord appeal?:
I would handle the appeal as I have with any appeal on the servers I currently staff on. I would begin by contacting the staff member who had banned them, where required (i.e. resigned staff).
I would look into both sides of the story to understand the reasons behind the ban and why it was valid/ invalid then make a final decision and make an outcome similar to all the ones I have done previously on TTT/SSRP. The reply to the appeal would be something similar to the following:


Explain some of the administrative features of TS3/Discord and when they're used
appropriately:

Set server group/ roles: One of the main features of TS staff is the ability to assign and remove server groups. This includes all staffing badges for ranks from moderator up to head admin on all of the zarp servers. This is used when training/ when a user resigns or gets demoted.

Kick from channel/ server: With TS staff you can kick people from the server if they are breaking the TOU and refuse to listen/ cooperate.

Ban from server: This is used to ban people who repeatedly break TOU after a kick, or who are breaking the rules to an extreme level.

Move users: With TS staff you can move people from channels and into spacers and vice-versa. This is useful when training or when needed to talk to someone privately with no interference.

Admin powers on discord are slightly different as it is more based on chat moderation, and ensuring that the users of the discord do not break TOU. Small offences will see the message deleted whereas much larger scale situations will lead to the user being kicked/ banned.


What would I do different with my new powers? (we recommend around 50 words):

With my new powers I would do many things including, but not limited to;

Train new TS Staff
Should a member of staff/ user be accepted as TS staff or given it via a promotion to the LT I would use my power to train them for their new rank. This would be done to a high level to ensure they use the powers constructively on the server.

Handle appeals/ reports
Similar to my duties as Head Admin on TTT and Minecraft and Admin on SSRP, should a report abuse or appeal be made I would handle it and investigate the situation fully. I would work with both sides to get the best and fairest outcome in the situation. If needed I would remove powers/ bring up the reported staff member in the next Teamspeak meeting.


I feel I would be able to do these things alongside other smaller responsibilities, such as the creation of gang channels, should they be needed. I would actively ensure everyone on the TS or the Discord has the correct roles in comparison to their staff rank to make sure they can access the relevant features of the main discord and be found/ contacted easily by users.
I would be readily available to anyone who needs the help of a Head Admin as I am very active on the teamspeak server and spend most of the time online and in public channels when using the main servers. I am also very trusted, as shown with the fact I hold 2 Head Admin roles within the community, alongside admin on the SSRP server and forum staff in 3 sections.
