Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario:
"Random Death Match" or "RDM" for short is where a player kills another player without proper authorisation or necessary need/evidence, for example player 1 is running around and not doing anything suspicious at all, and then player 2 sees player 1, player 2 thinks that player 1 is a traitor and without first gathering valid evidence or reasoning, kills or RDM's player 1.
Even if player 1 was a traitor, it would not matter as player 2 still did not have a valid reason or any evidence to kill/RDM player 1.
Give three examples of an acceptable KOS and its scenario:
1. Murdering a proven player or a detective:
A detective and two other players are standing next to each other, while the detectives back is turned player 1, who is a traitor murders the detective right in front of player 2, who is an innocent.
Then player 2 announces that player 1 is now KOS'ed and kills player 1, player 2 then gives the valid reasoning behind the KOS, which was he murdered a detective.
2. Avoidance of a requested traitor test:
A player who is currently unproven is asked to get into the traitor tester, the player visibly refuses by running away from the direction of the tester and the detective that has asked them to test, the detecrive who asked the first player to do a traitor test warns the first player that if they do not test and continue to keep avoiding doing a test, they will be KOS'ed, the unproven player continues to run and is subsequently marked as KOS by the pursuing player and then is gunned down by the detective.
3. Being witnessed planting a c4 explosive:
A player who is a traitor buys a c4 using the "T Shop" and then sneakily attempts to plant and arm the bomb, another player witnessed this act and calls out that the player has just placed a c4 and names the location of where they seen the player placing the explosive, the traitor attempts to dash away or either attempts to kill the player that called them out, the innocent player places a KOS on the traitor and murders them.
Give two examples of unacceptable KOS and their scenarios:
1. KOS'ing on skin/playermodel:
Imagine a player is seen going into a "T Room" the witness did not manage to see the name of the traitor but did see their skin/playermodel, they quickly announce a KOS on any player in a Woody skin from Toy Story.
This is not allowed as another player who is perhaps innocent may be and often is killed as they are wearing the same skin.
2. KOS for annoying behaviour without first warning the player at least once:
Two players are close to each other, player 1 begins following player 2, this goes on for quite sometime and player 2 begins to get agitated by their pursuer and places a KOS on them for following, they then gun down the following player.
KOS'ing someone for following is allowed but the following player must be warned that they will be KOS'ed if they keep following the player however player 2's KOS on player 1 is an unacceptable and invalid KOS as player 2 did not warn player 1 to stop following them at least once before KOS'ing and killing them.
Why I should be chosen:
I should be chosen because:
- I am great fun to play with as I have a very weird and funny personality that makes for some interesting conversations and situations.
- I can handle a joke and not lose my head if I am insulted.
- I can make a joke out of any situation while still being unoffensive or respectful, if I am unfortunately able to offend people or a individual it is always either accidental or unintentional and I usually apologise within a minute or two and/or try to straighten out the situation out.
- I sometimes get a bit loud or obnoxious but I'll usually calm down quite quickly, telling me to shut up always helps too.
- I am never racist and I am able to get along with anyone regardless of background or gender, etc.
- I enjoy being friendly and having a laugh, and am happy to help anyone that has a problem.
- I have a tremendously entertaining voice haha.
My Timezone and priorities:
I am from the United Kingdom, specifically England so I am within the GMT time zone, I am also active nearly everyday and almost all day depending on whether I haven't already got something going on.
Reasoning behind apply for Mod:
My reason for wanting to be a mod is although I have not been on the server for as long as say Finn or Nay, I still tremendously enjoy playing on the ZARP TTT server and like the community on there as they're always friendly and good to laugh with, however occasionally things to go wrong such as a mass RDM, a racist player or someone who is just being an annoying mic spammer.
I would like to help towards fixing issues such as these by either warning the perp or taking further action, I'm also not scared to ask for help from other staff and respect the higher ups without seeming like too much of a kiss ass haha.
Hopefully I don't seem too up tight or whatever but I appreciate the reviewing of my application and am happy with whatever the verdict/outcome ends up being.
