Why I should be promoted

How do you feel that your time as an administrator has contributed to becoming a super administrator:

Over the last two years I have been surf staff for quite a bit of it and managed to being Surf Super Administrator in the past already. In that time I managed to get over 200 hours of staffing on Surf and probably over 1000 hours of staffing in Zarp in general. And eventhough my time in Zarp hasn't always been the best and I've definitely also annoyed people (sorry Uzi), I always wanted Zarp to get a better place for everyone with a special focus of Surf as I feel like it's not the biggest part of the community. Since my return to staffing and playing two months ago however I feel like I have improved my view on things and am not as annoying anymore. I hope you agree, if not please message me and I'll try my best to look at my self and improve further on it. In these two months Surf is getting a lot of players on constantly and with the recent resignation of Knuthulu and an in size increasing staff team I feel like Surf could need another Super Administrator that has experience with surf and it's player base.

What makes you a good candidate for the super administrator team? ( in this part you can go as detailed as you want):

Dedication

In my time as surf staff I have always searched for thing on the server that could need improvement and suggested it on the forums or in meetings. I have had a good activity in the past and attend most meetings(when they do happen and yes I missed two, but I'm in the middle of moving out so I hope that's forgivable). If any other staff members asked for any help I have always been there for them and always give feedback on applications or surf related suggestions.

Activity

I have joined Zarp roughly two years ago and have gained over 1000 hours of Staffing in Zarp in that time. Mostly on TTT which is gives me a huge amount of experience on how to handle rulebreakers, appeals and other staff related stuff. However I also managed to get over 200 hours on Surf and am #8 ranked player in total on Surf. I'm very active on the forums and yes you don't really notice it, but there simply isn't much input for surf to post on, nor appeals etc. but feel free to check everything surf related of the last year and I'm sure you'll find a lot of posts from me too.

Attitude

My attitude is always calm and not only in game, but also in real life it is almost impossible to make me mad or getting me to rage. I feel like this is very important while staffing as users often try to test us. Other than that I'm always nice and try to help users and fellow staff where I can. I am an easily approachable person and have an open ear for everyone. Oh and as said before I've even improved it imo from last time I was TTT staff.

Experience and Trust

For Trust especially some of you TTT staff members may shake their heads, but yea I can just apology again to you guys, that was honestly not what I wanted to say and I really regret it, which led to me resigning and taking a break from Zarp. I really did feel shit seeing the reaction of some of you and believing I actually ment that, I didn't and never wanted to say what I did there. I hope you can ignore that since it's been roughly half a year now. Other than that (exluding maybe one ban) I never really did huge mistakes in two years of being staff on Zarp. I was TTT admin for a very long time. Managed to get Surf super admin in the past and hence also TS staff. I've also been Deathrun and Bhop staff in the past and managed to get a huge amount of experience with handling rulebreakers, appeals etc.

Staff related questions

Explain a situation as an administrator you encountered that was an obstacle that required the help of a lead team member but you had to work around it when no lead team member was available:

In my time as admin on surf I have not encountered rulebreakers I could not deal with as we don't really have any hackers and our staff is not abusing their powers. However if for example a hacker would join, I'd try my best to get any LT online and while waiting I would record the user so it could be handled during the next meeting, while trying to punish him for other rules he breaks (if he breaks any)

Explain how you would review and handle an abuse report against another staff member:

First I would read through the report in detail and make sure I understand everything. Then I would speak with the staff member and the user doing the request getting the full story of both sides and look at the evidence. With having the story of both sides I would either ask for the opinion of some other staff or instantly come to a verdict of my own.

Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member bans a user for an excessive amount of time, how do you approach the staff member to ensure that everyone is treated fairly?

I would speak with the staff member and see if he had a reason to do so, if not I'd tell the staff member to not be as strict as we want people to enjoy the server. Afer making sure he doesn't do the same mistake again, I would lower the users ban to an appropiate time.

Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member is dealing with a user but is struggling to do so in an appropriate manner. How would you resolve the situation?

I would give the staff member some advice on how he can handle the situation better and guide him through it, while making sure he knows how to handle a similiar situation the next time.

Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member accuses another staff member of breaking rules, how would you help resolve the situation?

I would speak with both the staff members and would handle it in a similiar way to an report. I would look at the evidence and come to an outcome. If the report is valid I would speak with the staff member and tell him how to do so correclty and bring it up in the LT meeting. If he didn't do a mistake I would re explain the rule to the other staff member making sure he understands it.

Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member acts in a disrespectful manner towards another staff member and or sparks an argument within the staff team. How do you resolve the situation?

I would speak with both the staff members causing the drama and try to help them solve their situation as we always want a nice and calm atmosphere within the staff team, since as just said we should be a team and not a bunch of lonely fighters.

Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
You spot a staff member breaking rules to the point of harming other users, how do you approach the staff member?

I would try to speak with the staff member and get him to stop. If he doesn't react I would feel the need to emergency demote him and in either case bring it up in the next LT meeting.
