Steam Name: GetMoist Link to Steam Profile: steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198049668461/ SteamID: STEAM_0:1:44701366 Link to GameTracker for the server: www.gametracker.com/player/GetMoist/play.zarpgaming.com:27017/ Languages I speak: English and a bit of Welsh, but don't quote me on that. Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario: Random Death Match is when you kill, or try to kill, another player without a sufficient reason given your current role. When you are innocent or detective, you need to have observed traitorous behavior before you can kill another player. Traitorous behavior can be anything from killing other players and not identifying the body to using traitor related equipment without announcing that you have it. If there has not been any behavior like this, then killing them is RDM. For example, if I was to kill another player because they were wounded, that would be RDM, as there are many reasons why a player might be wounded besides them being a traitor. I would need additional reasons to suspect them before I can kill, even if they are actually a traitor. Give three examples of an acceptable KOS and its scenario: 1) I have seen a player kill another player and run off without identifying the body. I identify the body and the player is an innocent, so I have enough suspicion on him to KOS. 2) I am a detective who has called a live check in chat to find out who is still alive. I have given another warning to make sure everyone is aware of the live check, and then I find a player who has not responded within a sufficient amount of time. I KOS them as this is traitorous behavior. 3) I am an innocent who witnesses another player walk into the T room and survive. Only traitors can do this, so I can then call a KOS on them as they've given themselves away. Give two examples of unacceptable KOS and their scenarios: 1) I have decided I want to claim an area of the map and say in chat that anyone who comes in the nether will be KOSed. A player comes in and I KOS them. As the nether is a public area of the map, it is not traitorous to go there so I cannot call a KOS on someone for doing this. 2) I find a body that has been killed with a sniper. I then see a player nearby who has a sniper too, so I KOS him. He dies and is an innocent, and I look like a right idiot as about a third of the server probably have snipers equipped. Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 100 words): I believe I am a friendly and well-behaved player on the server, and would like the opportunity to help out and become more of a part of the community. I've been playing since 2017 but have been on a lot more recently, so believe now is a good time to send in this application. I was previously an admin on a TTT server until about 2 years ago when the servers died out, I enjoyed that experience and had a good reputation. I still enjoy TTT a lot and I play most regularly on this server. In my time on the server I believe I have always respected the rules and the players. I will always own up to my mistakes and ultimately I just want to help out as I like playing on the server a lot. I most often play at weekends but I do sometimes jump on in the evenings after work. Thank you for reading this, more than happy to accept any feedback if there is anything anyone thinks I need to improve on. Cheers. |
