Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario:
Random Death Match, also known as RDM, is a term used to describe a scenario that is sadly common in
the TTT gamemode. It’s the act between Two innocents, Two traitors, Two detectives or a combination of
an innocent and a detective, where Person A, being an innocent, kills Person B, another innocent for
example, without having beyond reasonable doubt that the person he is shooting is a traitor. It could be
done out of sheer randomness, a misunderstanding of the TTT gamemode or a suspicion that is not valid
according to the rules of the server, such as the person having the same skin as someone who IS a traitor
or the person is holding a weapon.


Give three examples of an acceptable KOS and its scenario:
Person A sees Person B shoot another person. Person A then waits for Person B to identify the person he killed, which turns out to be an innocent. Person A then has the right to KOS Person B.

Person A sees that Person C, a player who has the Detective role, issue a command in chat to KOS Person B. Person A then can carry out the KOS on Person B and kill him.

Person A sees Person B with a weapon that only a traitor could have. Person A then checks chat to see if Person B typed in chat about the traitor weapon. After seeing that he didn’t, Person A can then shoot and kill Person B.

Give two examples of unacceptable KOS and their scenarios:
Person A sees Person B shoot another person. This time however, Person A then doesn’t wait for Person B to identify the person he killed and just shoots him as soon as Person B kills another person.

Person A sees Person C enter the traitor room. He then sees Person B who has the same skin as Person C and decides to shoot him, as he thinks that he’s killing Person C.

Explain a situation where it would be appropriate to use the ban command:
If a player accumulates enough recent punishments and is obviously on the server to cause trouble, and wants to purposely destroy the flow of the game and ruin players enjoyment of the server/gamemode. The player has been spoken to and warned beforehand that if his actions continue, more drastic measures will be taken to stop him and if he continues, disregarding the last warning, he should be issued a temporary ban.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that Staff Member x banned them permanently for Exploiting, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?

Each situation is different when it comes to ban appeals or other punishment appeals, so I’d first read
it thoroughly to make sure I get every detail right. Once I do, I’d first ensure that I write “Handling” or
something else along those lines in order to inform other admins or higher ranked member about me
taking on this case.

Then, I’d talk to the admin in question, and ask him for the reason behind his decision, and why he didn’t
follow the protocol of ban reasons and their appropriate punishments. An exploit I believe only deserves
a warn, and/or, depending on the situation, a slay so he stops the exploit. If enough warns accumulate or
other recent punishments, he would then get a ban, and even then not a permenant one.

I’d then reduce the banned players punishment to a complete ban removal and a replacement of the
ban wth a warn. and inform the admin in question about the ban reasons, and other punishment policies


Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 100 words):
As I mentioned in the introuction, I have a wide range of experience being a staff member and other
manager positions in different games and servers, however more importantly, I have a lot of experience
being a staff member here, in this very server. On my first week of moderator, I managed to take and
complete over 600 reports, each day improving the quality of my handling. Towards the end of my staff
position, I became more and more efficient with the way I handle them. I am observant when it comes to
TTT and I more often than not notice situations of rule breaking when they occur, which help me keep the
server clean and everyone happy. I always record my gameplay which helps me in reports for evidence in
order to ensure that my decision making is completely informed and thoughtful, leaving no unhappy
players.

As a player, I only enjoy the TTT gamemode, and have grown to respect and love it more than anything
in garrys mod. I’ve became very good at it, and I understand it from top to bottom, which I think can be
beneficial to the current staff team: to have a complete, full, thorough understanding of the gamemode
and the complicated balance that it carries. There are flaws with it in this server, as there is in every other,
and I am applying in order to assist the community with my expertise as much as possible.

I belive that my previous experience, good understanding of the rules and the punishments, the UXL
menu and the report menu and all other things that I learnt in my previous time as staff, aded with my
current time that I spent as a player make me a good candidate for your staff team.
