TOPIC: [Surf Admin] Knuthulhus Application

Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin:
Well i've gotten a lot more familiar with the server and it's players. I've taught players that have never surfed before and helped them complete thier first map, I've helped more skilled players by showing them better routes and skips they didn't know about. I have talked to Dat Sand(Bhop Admin) about the responsibilities and new ablities as an Admin and I think that im ready.



Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user):
To be honest I haven't encountered a situation that i couldn't solve myself but lets pretend someone used cheats while i was on. In a situation like that I would immediately get in contact with an admin and try to provide as much evidence as i can(I have nvidia shadowplay which allows me to record the last 5 minutes). If no Admin or higher rank is avaible at the moment i would have no other choice but to kick the cheater.



If you had to write a letter to train a moderator in between 100-200 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?:
I would start of by welcoming the player to the staff team and then explaing his new abilities which he can find by pressing holding TAB and pressing on a players name.

Kick:
Kicks selected player of the server. This is only to be used as a last resort if verbal warnings and muting doesn't work.

Mute Chat:
Dissables player from using Text Chat. Used if someone is spamming, Being racist or just being rude in chat and a verbal warning doesn't work.

Mute Voice:
Dissables player from using Voice Chat. Used if someone is mic spamming, Being racist or just being rude in voice chat and a verbal warning doesn't work.

Strip Weapons:
Removes players weapons. Used if a player is using a gun to the point of annoying other players.

Family Sharing Check:
Check if a player is using a Family Shared Account. Can be used if you suspect a banned player is using a second account.

Spectate:
Doesn't need an explanation

Send Message:
Send a private Message to the selected user



Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for Cheating, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?

If i think that he's learned his lession and truely is sorry for what they did I would Support him. I'd tell the person resonsible for appeals this and explain how I came to think the way I do.



Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 100 words):
As i said in my Moderator Application i used to run my own server for about 2½ years which gave me a lot of experiance. I've gotten to know a lot of the players and even become friends with some of them. I try to play at least 1h or more everyday. I'd like to think that im a trustworthy and helpful person and I do whatever I can to help a player in need.
