How do you feel that your time as an administrator has contributed to becoming a super administrator:
I haven't returned to the community for too long but in my time being back I have learned about what has happened on the server, what should be changed and what problems there are.
As an administrator, I would say that I have contributed a fair amount in management of players. I always help out users when I can whether or not there is an F1. I always keep my F1 count high because I spend the majority of my time on the server handling users to the best of my ability.
When I am on the forums and I see a report or appeal that needs handling and it isn't already taken then I will handle it. Although as it stands I don't have that many handled appeals / reports, Whenever I see one that isn't handled I will handle it.
Richard takes them all in my defense
What makes you a good candidate for the super administrator team? ( in this part you can go as detailed as you want):
There are many reasons why I believe I should be accepted for Super Admin Here is why:
Experience
Although I have only been staff on the SSRP server for 2 months now, I have gained a lot of experience in dealing with virtually all situations. From how to handle certain users to keeping an eye on what different staff members are doing. Out of any reports that have been put against me there isn't any that have been accepted in my time as staff. Usually people that are accepted for Super Admin on the server have been staff for a lot longer however I believe that I always handle situations with an unbiased opinion and make sure that whatever is going on I get to the bottom of it.
Dedication
Throughout my time playing on the server as a staff member whenever I am online I try to handle any problems that a user may have. Unless I am in the middle of RP that I can't leave I will go out of RP to help a user. I also try to help in events that are put on by Richard and other members of the community if they need someone's assistance.
Trust
Although I have only returned to the community for 2 months I would say that I am very Trustworthy, within the 2 months I have been back I haven't been given any official warnings on the server and I haven't abused my powers. I was also a Deathrun Admin however I resigned as I had lost interest in the gamemode. There was one incident recently which I could have handled a little bit better however that incident resulted in a Deny but I was aware I could have handled the situation better. Apart from that I would say that I do quite well in handling situations on the server.
Explain a situation as an administrator you encountered that was an obstacle that required the help of a lead team member but you had to work around it when no lead team member was available:
Since I have been admin I have always been able to contact a member of the lead team so I don't have a situation that I have had to work around but an example of this could be if I encounter a cheater on the server because of the hacking policy I can't actually punish them so I would gather enough evidence of them cheating and send it to a member of the lead team to get it looked at during the lead team meeting.
Explain how you would review and handle an abuse report against another staff member:
First, I would speak to the user that created the report. After discussing with the user I would then contact the staff member that has been reported. I would ask for his side of the story and then have the 3 of us in a call or chat together (Me, the user and the reported staff member) and come to a conclusion of the report. I would reply to the appeal with either of the Following examples.
Accepted Appeal
Hello [username], Thank you for taking your time to make this report.
After Reviewing your report and speaking to the administrator in question, I have decided to accept this report as the staff member in question was clearly in the wrong. I will take action to make sure that this does not happen again.
Denied Appeal
Hello [username], Thank you for taking your time to make this report.
After Reviewing your report I have came to the conclusion that the staff member in question has not done anything to warrant a punishment.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member bans a user for an excessive amount of time, how do you approach the staff member to ensure that everyone is treated fairly?
After I saw the ban and that it was an excessive amount of time, I would ask them to join teamspeak and explain to them that the amount of time that they banned the user for was a excessive. I would then just let them know that they arent in trouble and go over the staff ethos. I would then proceed to either remove or shorten the length of the ban.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member is dealing with a user but is struggling to do so in an appropriate manner. How would you resolve the situation?
In this situation I would go to the staff member that is struggling, ask about what is going on and help guide the staff member in how to handle the situation so they don't struggle in similar situations in the future.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member accuses another staff member of breaking rules, how would you help resolve the situation?
I would first tell them to stop accusing and then ask the staff member that is accusing their side of the story and if they had any evidence. Then I would ask the accused staff member their side of the story and if they recorded at all during that period. If the staff member did abuse and there is sufficient evidence then I would bring it up in the lead team meeting. If there wasn't enough proof, I would just just make sure that they stopped arguing.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member acts in a disrespectful manner towards another staff member and or sparks an argument within the staff team. How do you resolve the situation?
The first thing that I would do is I would diffuse the situation and stop their argument and get an explanation from both of them on what is going on. I would get them both to apologies to each other and stop arguing as staff members should work together.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
You spot a staff member breaking rules to the point of harming other users, how do you approach the staff member?
If a staff member was harming other users by breaking rules I would get them to come onto teamspeak, I would explain to the staff member what they have done wrong and take action if necessary to make sure that they don't do it again. If they do not comply and continue to abuse I would Emergency Demote them and bring it up within the next Lead Team Meeting.
If there is any criticisms you have please let me know. I would like to improve in areas which people believe I can improve on.Thank you for reading my application.
