I am on the forums quite frequently for a few hours per day.

Why You?:
To start this off:

Firstly, my current position and influence within the community.
I guess it safe to say that I am trusted in within the community.
It goes without saying that I've been a lead team member for quite some time now, and it has allowed me to interact with a lot of players whether it is through the server, teamspeak and the forums.
The things that I usually discuss with the players is in regards to their suggestions on what should or could be added to all of the servers to get a rise in players.
I calmly talk through the pros and cons of the ideas suggested and if needed, I'll ask the person suggesting the idea to go into more detail by creating a forum post in full detail, if need be.

Secondly, I am currently holding the rank of community council, and from what I believe as well as heard from a couple of other members, is that during the meetings I bring a lot of thoughts and ideas about suggestions that others have made within the meeting or on the forums and I feel that getting this position can help me spread my ideas around the community and not limited to only SSRP, as well as presenting my own suggestions that can greatly benefit the servers. This is a positive because this skill allows me to look through the positives and the negatives of a suggestion a player has made that they may've missed.

Finally, the third reason is as simple as I enjoy reading through the suggestions made on the forums and discussing it with players outside of the council.
This also lets me get a feel for what some players throughout the community want on the servers that they actively play on.

community council

You've only posted 5 times in the Server Issues/Suggestions section during the last 30 days, which is an extremely low post count for a Forum applicant, nor have you been contributing much there judging by those posts. Also, Jim_Jam somehow magically received staff in that section (not sure how, when nor why), and I can say with confidence that this section requires no more than a single staff member. I'm sorry but you don't have my vote.

You may not have many posts but it'll be very useful to you and the council team for doing the suggestions.

basically same situation as me, always lurking on the forums but only posts when necessary or if he feels like his input is needed.

Personally this sounds more of a personal matter you have with me.

Clearly I don't do enough, as stated in my post this was all because of me. Along with every other suggestions (apart Markus's). If you ever get into the council you might see how much effort some of the people put into it.

Perfect opportunity both for Jamie and the Forum staff team.
Jamie is a very dedicated member of the community for a long time now, he has proven himself by staying through rough the times without leaving posts and constant bitching about the state of the game.

As an Ex. GM I can confidently say that the hardest part in becoming a forum moderator is getting your first section, you’re not very trusted and people would rather just take a safe pick with someone who’s holding a forum position already. Jamie will do an amazing job in his section but not only that it will open his eyes to the forums staff work.
He should definitely get the position, he constantly looks through the forums and posts with interest on whatever he thinks he could add something to the subject. Not only that he is CC which makes a lot of sense to have a man like Jamie for the job.

I can safely say that you are one of, if not the most deserving of this position. All the hard work and dedication you put into the community council is astonishing. All the work with any given suggestion shows that you deserve and are ready for a position such as this. Best of luck.
