- About Me -
I was born on 06/06/2001, I currently reside somewhere in southern germany and I currently work as a software engineer. Besides being an active member of ZARP, I am a part of a german military simulation community revolving around the game Arma 3.
I joined ZARP for the first time back in 2015 and quickly decided to apply for a staff position. Shortly after christmas I got accepted as a moderator and just about two weeks later, I decided to apply for admin and got accepted. I was so excited to be able to help out the staff team and catch rulebreakers. Being staff on SSRP somehow reassured me and made me more confident, even outside the community. Back then I sadly underestimated the time it takes to be an active staff member and when school started again I was quickly overwhelmed and had to leave the staff team and eventually stopped being active in the community aswell.
After finishing school a few years later I wanted to pursuit my dreams and decided to become a software engineer. I had already known some basics and had a decent overall knowledge which really helped me getting into my new career. I also became much more calm and thoughtful which reflected positively on my time management skills. Around christmas 2018 I came back to ZARP and again decided to apply for moderator. I was accepted and shortly after promoted to admin. This time I managed to consistently stay active. About six months later I decided to apply for super admin and got accepted. I wanted to help out the staff team on a much wider scale and needless to say my promotion helped me accomplish that task up to this day.

- Qualifications -
Attitude and Behavior
Every staff member represents their entire staff team. Showing a good attitude and thinking about your behavior puts the whole staff team into a better light and generally benefits it. When a staff member decides to show a bad attitude, rush his duties or even break rules he drags the staff team's reputation down with him. Whenever I am doing staff duties I try to keep this in mind, show my best behavior and act as objectively as possible.
Experience
Over the last ten months I've learned a lot about the inner workings of the staff team and the community as a whole. I am able to confidently deal with difficult people, exceptional situations and other challanges related to staffing. I have a good knowledge of the server rules, policies and the workflows around them. I've handled a lot of appeals, punishment request (both user-on-user and user-on-staff) and about a thousand F1's in-game.
Consistency / Reliability
During my time as a staff member, I've proven to be consistent. Over a span of ten months I have managed to maintain activity requirements and to this day I have never received any sanctions, official warnings or demotions. Even when I had personal issues and was stressed out a lot, I've taken the time to fulfill my staff duties.
Meeting Presence
Frequently participating in staff meetings is an essetial part of being a staff member and especially important if you are a part of the lead team. In the ten months of being a staff member I have only missed a handful of meetings for personal reasons. I do my best to attend as many meetings as possible and voice my opinion accordingly. Whether it comes to talking about staff applicants, demotions or even rule changes, I make sure that my voice is heard.
Communication
Communication is essential when it comes to being a staff member. Whenever someone wants to talk to me privately, they can approach me on many different communication channels. I'm usually on teamspeak and I frequently check the forums, at home and while I'm working. I can be approached in-game when I'm playing on one of the SSRP servers and privately messaged on discord / steam (links to both profiles are publicly available in my forum signature). I usually respond pretty quickly, sometimes even late at night and early in the morning.

- Lead Team Experience -
One of my first tasks as a super admin revolved around managing applicants. On a weekly basis I looked through all staff applications for SSRP and reviewed them carefully. In the weekly meeting I presented my findings to the staff team and participated in further discussions about them. After the meeting I went on to train most accepted staff members and assigned their ranks accordingly. After some time I moved on to tasks related to "Staff Quality Assurance". I was mainly making sure that staff members did their job accordingly and I performed frequent "performance reviews". If needed, I'd talk to staff members about inproper behavior, but that rarely happened. Nowdays I am mostly responsible for reviewing staff activity and also handle more staff reports. All in all, I've managed to gain valuable experience in most areas a super admin is responsible for and I think I'm ready to take the next step!

- My Goals -
Review of the Server Rules
In my time as a staff member I've noticed a few rules that are either not up-to-date or poorly worded. In the near future I want to review the rules once again and compile a list of rules that need to be reworded as to ensure that the SSRP gamemode on ZARP is running on a solid foundation. It will take some time but overall it will be worth it. This will eliminate unnecessary confusion and arguments among both users and staff members.
Cooperation with the Community Council
The community council is a pretty new entity in the ZARP hierarchy. It's important not to underestimate its value and I personally want to assist the community council in its effort to involve the community in the development of our servers. In the near future I want to keep close contacts with some members of the community council and do my best to help them out with any issues / suggestions related to the staff team.
Improvement of Staff Communications
The staff time is all in all well organized, but I personally feel as if there is a lack of communication. Some staff members struggle to communicate their ideas and issues towards other staff members and the lead team. In the near future I want to encourage more communication within the staff team. However, compared to my previously mentioned goals this one is not as well though out and needs more planning as it has just recently came to my attention.
