How would you handle a TS3/Discord appeal?:
First I would read the entire appeal to see what rule did the user break, the duration of the ban and make sure to fully understand the story. I would also try to contact the user if I don't understand and let him explain what happened (on TeamSpeak, Discord or Steam). Once it's done I would contact the staff member that handled the punishment to know his side of the story. Depending on the response I would decide what should be the outcome.
If I belive the staff member was right to ban him I would deny the appeal.
If I belive the staff member was right to ban him but the duration of the ban exessive I would explain him why it was too long and maybe reduce the ban.
If I belive the staff member was wrong I would accept the appeal.
Of course when my decision is taken I would reply to the appeal with my response and explain why did I choose this outcome.
Example of an Accepted Appeal:
Hello <user>,
After looking through your story and speaking with the staff member that banned you, we decided to accept your appeal. <Reasons of why I accepted>
Example of a Denied Appeal:
Hello <user>,
After speaking with the staff member who banned you I belive you should wait a bit more before getting unbanned. [Explain some stuff he could work on]. Sorry this has been Denied
Explain some of the administrative features of TS3/Discord and when they're used appropriately:
For TeamSpeak:
Set server group: This feature is used to add a user to a group. These groups shows your rank in the differents staff team. For example someone with the SSRP Admin badge is Admin on SSRP. This command is used to give the user the appropriate group depending on which staff team he belong.
This can also be used if a staff member resign/gets demoted, you would use this feature to remove his group showing he's not in the staff team anymore.
Move: Probably the most used feature, this is very usefull in many case. You can take a user and drag him/move him in an other channel of your choice. You can use it when going in a spacer for some reason, when you have to talk with someone in private (e.g you're LT and have to talk with an admin about stuff or you handle an appeal), when you are training a staff member or to bring staff members in the meeting.
Kick (from Channel): This feature kicks someone out of your channel into the AFK Lobby. You should use it when someone is doing minor offense such as micspam and when the kick from server isn't needed.
Kick (from Server): This feature kicks the user out of the server which means that he has to reconnect to the server. You should use it when someone is doing serious offense such as disrespect but a ban isn't needed
Ban: This feature kicks the user out of the server for a set amount of time which has to be given fairly. It should only be used when someone is massively breaking the TOU and when kicking him from server hasn't been enough.
For Discord:
Move: It works the same as TeamSpeak
Delete messages: You can select a message and delete it. It should be used when someone post something breaking the TOU. It's very usefull command.
Kick: It works the same as TeamSpeak
On Discord you can use Dyno which allow you to mute people for a set amount of time, it should be used when someone is spamming, being disrespectful, etc...
You have also temp ban which isn't the same as the Discord banning system which is permanent so you can ban people for a set amount of time. It should be used when someone is massively breaking the TOU
What would I do different with my new powers? (we recommend around 50 words):
The main reason as why I'm applying for this rank is because I feel we need new TeamSpeak Head Admin. I would be happy to help with training new TeamSpeak staff members or handle appeals on the forums. I try to attend every meetings but it's kinda late for me which explains why I'm missing some. I know my activity isn't the best (Right now because I'm in hollidays) but I try to be on when I can. I'm most of time in the TTT channel or in the AFK lobby/spacer but when I get a poke I answer quickly which means I'm always here if you need help.
And for Discord I'm on it everyday at any time and I'm very active trying to answer questions or discuss with anyone. And for some reason I get mad when people are asking for a role and wait days for it (sometimes) when I could do it right now (don't judge me thanks).
I'm also a Lead Team member on Prop Hunt as a Super Admin and on Deathrun as a Head Admin which shows I can be trusted with this rank. I have experience with handling appeals and reports from my previous Admin rank on the TTT server so this shouldn't be a problem for me. I've also trained many new staff member during my time as a Lead Team member (About 7 months) so I could train new TeamSpeak staff members correctly.
EXTRA CREDIT: How much does DEADMONSTOR sell client icons for?:
I heard it's about 50mil SSRP cash but honestly idk
This is mostly for feedbacks I'm not really expecting to get accepted. Anyways any feedbacks will be appreaciated and worked on.
Also be kind I made it on phone.
