Why are you interested in being part of the Community Council?
I am interested in becoming a council member for a few reasons, which are:
Firstly, I want to try and cause a stronger impact as a member of the communtiy, by means such as voicing my opinions on certain decisions made within the community team along with the council team regarding player suggestions.
Secondly, I quite like listening to some of the ideas that people bring forward that can potentially increase player count and give my own view on their ideas on whether or not it'd be a good idea to implement it.
Thirdly, getting community related suggestions the proper coverage that they require. I feel strongly about this point because, when players make suggestions, I can see that the posts get acknowledged as well as some of the comments made that helps to fortify the suggestions, but I tend to see that after a while, a lot of suggestions that have a lot of potential of being a hugely beneficial addition to the server just gets forgotten about, and I want to make sure that this does not happen to the best of my abilities.
I also intend on focusing on the pointshop servers because I do notice a lack of players on them at peek times. Although this may not be something that should be flagged, I intend on having as many servers that I can help acquire a steady playerbase.
These are some of the few points that makes me want to apply for the role of council member.
Why do you believe you should be selected for the Community Council? (We recommend at least 100 words)
If I am to talk about my strengths, I will proceed and a small elaboration on what I mean:
Confidence:
What I mean by this is that I am not afraid to voice my opinion on matters that I may or may not like.
Whether it is critisim or words that support anothers suggestion, I would try to be as constructive on the matter as possible. This everybody who'd be involved in the disucssion can understand other positives or negatives that they may've missed.
Listening:
When it comes to discussions, listening plays a key role in productivity of meetings. I am willing to show my listening skills to take in all the points thrown forward.
Understanding:
If I were to make a point, and another member during the meeting has a thought and presents a flaw in my original suggestions, I can take in what they said and either ask for help on the matter or look for a way to resolve the problem on my own.
Whether or not the point that the member is trying to make is relevant or not, I try to keep it in mind for future reference on the suggestions I make.
Staff and user relationship:
As a current SSRP lead team member, I believe that I can easily hold a conversation with both player and staff.
This trait can allow easy feedback between the suggestions that were stated within the meeting and suggestions that players may want to address me personally about.
View points:
I touched on this before previously, but when I suggest a idea and I am open to accept discussions around it. For example benefits or flaws in suggestions I might make or agree with.
Putting all of these points together along with the points of why I wish to be apart of the team I feel it can allow me and others to have a productive meeting and discussions about what the community wants, needs and doesn't.
In short, I am here requesting to be the voice of some of the players who've not been heard.
