Explain a situation where it would be appropriate to use the ban command:

A appropriate situation to use the ban command is when a player has 7 or more recent punishments. I would also use the ban command whenever a player joins the server commands MASS RDM 3 or more times and leaves to avoid answering reports and facing punishments. Both of these show a continued pattern of a player that either does not know the rules or has no interest in respecting the server and its players.

Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for Cheating, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to make this report after reviewing your rapsheet this is your first ban and it was not within my right as admin to give you this punishment and you also look to be sorry to have cheated so your ban will be lifted sorry for the error in judgement enjoy your time on the server!

Why I should be promoted

I feel I should be promoted because I've had previous experience with the ban command because I have experience as staff on a server in which moderators were able to ban for extended periods of time. I also feel that in my short time as mod, I find lots of situations where the ban command would be great to have to rid the server of MASS RDM for more then just an hour.
