Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario:
Random death match, also known as RDM, is when a player kills another player without a valid reason to do so.
Example scenario:
A shop owner is just minding his own business when a gun dealer approaches him and shoots him to death.
Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario:
The NLR states that you can not go to the district you died in for three minutes.
Also you've forgotten everything that happened in your past life.
There are some exceptions for this, for example police jobs can break the NLR in the police district or when trying to stop a bank raid.
Example scenario:
A player places a bounty on your head, then a hitman kills you in the suburb district.
You can't go to the suburbs for the next three minutes nor can you revenge kill the hitman/make them wanted for murder etc.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.
I'd take the F1 from player X and teleport to him.
Afterwards I'd bring in player Y and ask for both sides of the situation.
If it turns out that Y did actually RDM X I'd warn him for RDM.
If he didn't RDM I would not punish him.
If both of them tell a different story I'd ask for any sort of proof from X's side like screenshots or a video showing the situation and make a judgment based on that.
While doing all that I'd also keep
Wheatley's guide on how to handle F1s in mind.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.
I would again take the F1 from player X and listen to what he has to say.
After that I'd proceed to bring Y to us and listen to his side as well.
I'd also check the logs to see if Y died in the districted X accuses him to be breaking the NLR at within the past 3 minutes.
If it turns out that he was in fact in the district or if sufficient evidence was provided from X's side I'd make a judgment from there.
While doing all that I'd also keep
Wheatley's guide on how to handle F1s in mind.
Why I should be chosen(we recommend around 150 words):
I have got a ton of experience with staffing and have been with Zarp as a user since March 2018 & TTT staff since almost a year.
Currently I'm holding the TTT Server Owner rank so I guess I can be trusted with administrative powers.
I know how to use FAdmin from the admin rank I held on Surf a while ago.
Altough I haven't been active on SSRP for that long (because before I actually tried it I thought it was pretty shit) I've learnt to enjoy playing it.
I'd like to help out on SSRP by handling F1s, helping newer players finding their way around the game and I think I'd be a good and useful addition to the SSRP staff team.
Thank you for reading.
