Now that I have learned the simple rules and commands of being a staff moderator, i feel like it is time go for Admin. Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user): Yikes, a few days ago i was chillin in S1 raiding PD and the chat is suddenly flooded with "hiro wtf u doing" "WHERE IS STAFF" and i saw it and quickly teleported to spawn to check out what was happening. well there was around 5 people propblocking, prop pushing and rdming everyone in spawn, i took it upon myself to freeze them all and give them their warnings, but i couldn't remove the props and they wouldn't do it themselves, so i asked them once again to remove them, but they would not. i warned them all and they continued to keep rule breaking, so i checked whos props they were, and i saw who it was and i warned them again, he didn't take them down. then he started spamming /advert racism so i warned him until he was kicked, and the other people were still pushing and rdming, so i froze them all, and they all started spamming racism, so i warned them all till they were kicked, and i never saw them again. (i wished i was admin then so bad because i could have removed the props so fast and even banned them.) If you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?: I would say to the new moderator, that the basic changes to becoming a staff member is the F1 Menu, and it now has all the admin requests sorted out in order from oldest to most recent. you should always handle the ones that have been there longest unless they are for higher staff, or a certain staff member. there will be a warnings tab you can click on to check out recent punishments on the server. the next tab is the logs, and the logs tell you all kills, warns, arrests, hits, and people dying with NLR, that is very useful to tell who has killed someone if a user has made a f1. or if you see a lot of kills by one person it could possibly be mass rdm. then you have the basic commands of moderator, /tp (tp's you to where you are looking. /goto (name or steamid) /bring (name or steamid) those are pretty self explanatory, /goto makes you go to the player, and /bring brings someone to you. there is also /freeze that freezes the player you put in. the last command you will use frequently is /warn (STEAMID) this warns the player you are warning. you can also do all of these by pressing tab > player > option. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that another admin banned them permanently for prop-spam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be? (i would speak to the staff who banned them and if they allow me to unban them i would do this) I have reviewed your ban appeal and after speaking with the staff member who banned you, we have come to the conclusion to accept your appeal. If you are caught rule breaking again, it can possibly lead to even worse punishment and it will not look good for your rapsheet. Please review the !motd again to make sure you are all caught up with the new rules that may have been added when you were gone, Thanks for your appeal and time, Welcome back! Why I should be promoted(we recommend around 150 words): I feel as if i have done good as a moderator for the SSRP servers and i have learned how to use all of the commands properly. i have put lots of time into helping people with F1's and i feel like i could do better with Admin Rank, it lets me have a whole new plethora of commands that can make handling staff requests smoother and faster. i would also be able to warn people offline and remove prop block from arrogant people that are just in the server to troll. (i could also ban them if the reason is valid) which is another point i would like to hit, if you read my situation with the rulebreakers, that could have been a 10 minute shit show turned into a clean server in no time. all those people were there to just mess the server up and it took me quite a bit to get rid of them. Thanks for reading my application guys and hope to see you all in game |

Hey HiRo,
I've had a look at your application to give you some feedback. Your application shows a lot of effort. You're doing a good job as moderator. You are familiar with the rules and tools required to handle requests. You've got a good attitude. Personally, I don't see anything wrong with you or your application. You'd be a good fit for the administrator teams. Good Luck!

You have been consistently playing on the SSRP servers and doing a high number of F1's each week. Your application seems decent. Though my only concern is your Inactivity Notice you've recently made. Good luck.

Thanks for applying for staff at ZARP DarkRp! During our weekly staff meeting your application, question answers, game trackers and in-game warnings are checked and then the staff team votes on your application. This time, the staff team have decided that you still need to work on your application and then apply again next week. To try and help you they have summarised some positives & negatives discussed during the meeting: Inexperienced. You can apply again at any time, and thanks for supporting ZARP! |
