Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin: I feel over the hours ive been moderating on the server I have really come to terms with what it means to help people out on the server, and I feel with that I would be ready to be more helpful to the players and community
Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around: Every so often a player will get on and repeatedly mic spam, be racist, etc, and keep joining after being kicked and there really isn't much I can do while I contact another staff member with the powers to ban them.
If you had to write a letter to train a moderator in between 100-200 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?: Hi (new moderator), were so happy to have you here and we hope that you're just as happy to be here as well! There are a few things you might need to know though. Firstly your new abilities and how to use them. Now most of the time you'll have to decide what an appropriate punishment is for disobedient players, whether that's muting them, gagging them, or kicking them. Now to do this you'll need to open up your tab menu and left kick on said players name to see all the commands you have. You also can type !warn to warn players who break the rules. The command 'kick' does just that, it removes the player from the game. Now when punishing a player I personally like to start with a smaller punishment i.e only muting for 30 seconds and if they continue then I would ramp up the punishment before kicking them. The command 'mute globally' stops people from being able to speak in-game, you'll want to use this on people mic spamming and being racist via voice. The next command (and the one I've used most often) is 'mute' which mutes the text chat for said player, this is used on people spamming, being racist, and posting non-zarp links.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for Cheating, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be? After going over your appeal and reading your apology I found you too be really sincere and I think you honestly are sorry for what you've done. Seeing as this is your first ban, although a serious one, I think it would be fair after reading what you wrote and the number of bans you have to lower your ban to 2 weeks. Hopefully in this time you can reflect a bit more on the actions that got you banned and how it affects others in the community.
Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 100 words): I think I have demonstrated whether through previous positions held in Zarp or my time spent on B-Hop that I am fully capable and eager to be an Admin, not only because I think I could make more of a difference on the server but because I want to. I love the server and I love to B-Hop and I would love to be able to better help people who love them both like me.
Extra Information: (Not Required) Thanks for reading! Sincerely, Kato
also my 'james' game tracker is broken and doesn't show most of the time I have on the server in the past week; maybe its an issue on my end but I can assure you iv'e been active this past week and a half.
