▸How would you deal with someone who is being bullied on TS3?:
If a player was being bullied on the teamspeak, I would ask the player being bullied if they're alright. After making sure the player is alright, I would proceed to deal with the player(s) who're harassing the other player. I would deal with it depending on how bad of an attitude they've shown towards a player. If it was a players first offense as well as the issue being minor, like name calling etc, I would verbally warn the player and keep and eye on him, and proceed to kick and ban the player if the player(s) carried on bullying the other player after receiveing all prior punishments. (The punishments become harsher, if the player(s) carry on rule breaking)
▸Explain some of the administrative features of TS3 and when they're used
appropriately:
›Ban client:
The ban clinet command is used for banning a player from the server. This should be used in situations as I have mentioned before of player(s) not listening to staff instructions and continously break rules. An example of where it would be appropriate to ban a player from the teamspeak could be: A player is changing their teamspeak avatar to pictures containing pornographic pictures, after I have told the player to stop and removed the pictures that he is posting. I would ban the player from the server.
›Kick client from the channel:
The kick client from the channel command is used for kicking people out of a channel. This should be used in situations where a player is mic spamming in a chatroom. An appropriate time for this command to be used is: A player is mic spamming in a chatroom, I would tell the player to stop mic spamming as a verbal, but if the player carried on then I would kick the player from the channel.
›Kick client from the server:
The kick client from the server command is used for kicking people from the server entirely. This command should be used in situations where a player is excessivly breaking rules. An appropriate time for the use of this command could be: When a player has been warned multiple times for breaking a rule such Being racist on the server. I would handle it by verbally warning the player to make sure that they're aware that they're breaking a rule. If the player decides not to comply with my verbal warning, I would kick them from the server.
›Server groups:
The server group command is used for changing the server group of a player on the teamspeak. This command should be used in situations where a player have been accepted for a staff role. For example, if a player were to get staff and hypothetically speaking, I was able to train the player with supervision from a lead team member, I would give the player the rank at the start of the training.
›Moving clients:
The move client command is used for moving clients to different channels and spacers around the teamspeak. This command should be used if a player requests to be moved into a channel and/or spacer with their friend. For example, if a player pokes me asking if I could move them to a spacer, I would join the spacer with the players and ask if it is alright for the certain player to be moved in. If the player is allowed to be in the spacer, I would move the player in to the spacer with them.
›Delete avatar:
The delete avatar command is used for removing the avatar from players teamspeak profile. This command should be used in sitatuions where a player has a picture that is against tos on their teamspeak profile. For example, if a player has a picture of a pornographic image on their teamspeak avatar, I would use this command to remove it from the profile, and then proceed to privately speak to the player to make sure that they do not do it again.
▸Why I should be chosen? (we recommend around 50 words):
I believe I should be chosen for the teamspeak staff rank because I am consistantly active on the teamspeak as well as being easily approachable. The most recent punishment that I have gotten on teamspeak was over a year ago, and I feel that I've grown quite far from my childish behaviour from back then. I have a strong knowledge on the teamspeak commands, when to use them and how to use them, as well holding a current admin rank on SSRP, which shows that I can be trusted with powers.
Thank you for reading my application, all types of feedback would be greatly appreciated.
