How do you feel that your time as an administrator has contributed to becoming a super administrator:
When i became an admin I roughly knew the admin rules but not that well. When ! got spoken to about this I decided to read the rules of being an admin again to so something like this wouldn't happen again. Because of this i understand the rules more clearly and that improved my skills as a member of staff.
What makes you a good candidate for the super administrator team?:
Forums:
I check the forums everyday to see things like server issues and applications. I like to comment on applications so people can either see what they're doing right or doing wrong in terms of becoming a staff member because the server could always do with more staff.
Attitude In game:
I like to speak with players in game because I think that one of the best things about TTT is speaking with people and having fun, Also when people have a problem in game I try my best to help them solve that specific problem because I like helping people with their problems so that they can learn how to solve it in the future and maybe even help another player who is having that same problem. Also when warning someone I take into account things like: was it on purpose, was this their first warn. If they are a rookie and they don't know the rules I will open chat with them and I will tell them that i will give them a verbal warning for now and I would advise them to type "!rules" in chat and read them so they will understand what to do and how not to get warned.
Teamspeak:
When i play I usually like to be on teamspeak to talk with other staff who are playing because in my opinion its more fun playing when you are talking with other people. Also it's just nice to catch up with people on teamspeak even when we're not playing the same game/server.
Activity:
I am on every day because my pc is quite bad and Gmod is my favourite game that I can run well and Zarp TTT is my favourite server on Gmod. I also don't go out with friends alot so I have a bunch of free time to play the server.
Explain a situation as an administrator you encountered that was an obstacle that required the help of a lead team member but you had to work around it when no lead team member was available:
If there was a situation where somebody was hacking but they weren't breaking any other rules so I couldn't do anything I would just have to ask for staff in discord or ts and wait. But if I was super admin i would ban him for hacking
Explain how you would review and handle an abuse report against another staff member:
First I would ask the player who reported the staff member if he has any evidence against the reported staff member. If he says yes I would look at this evidence and decide what to do with the staff member. If it wasn't something too serious like using noclip to retrieve a diamond block I would tell him to come on ts and I would have a chat with him about him abusing his powers and I would say that if I catch him again abusing his powers like this again I will bring it up at the meeting. If it was something more serious like mass rdming people by teleporting them and then killing them I would tell them to come on ts and I would demote them instantly.
If the player's report was accepted I would say something like:
Hello (player's name) after reviewing the evidence given I have decided that (the staff member's name) was abusing his powers and your report has been
The issue has been dealt with. Have a nice day!
If the report has been denied I would say something like:
Hello (player's name) after reviewing your report I have decided that it will be
.(this could be becaue of lack of evidence or just because the staff member was within his right to do this specific thing) I have spoken to (the staff member's name) and I have concluded that he was not in the wrong. Have a nice day!
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member bans a user for an excessive amount of time, how do you approach the staff member to ensure that everyone is treated fairly?
First i would tell the staff member to come on ts. I would then take him into a private call and ask him why he banned the player for so long. Then I would inform him on how long you would really ban a player for to make sure he never did this again. I would then tell him that if he does this again I will bring it up in the LT meeting, I would also ask other staff members to keep an eye on him to see if he's doing things properly now.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member is dealing with a user but is struggling to do so in an appropriate manner. How would you resolve the situation?
I would assist the staff member in dealing with the report and I would tell him how to handle it in the future. Also if the player of staff member is getting frustrated I would tell them to calm down and take a breath.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member accuses another staff member of breaking rules, how would you help resolve the situation?
First I would tell the staff member who reported the other staff member to come on ts and I would invite him to a private chat room. I would tell him to tell me his side of the story and I would ask him to provide evidence. Then I would ask the reported staff member to come on ts and I would invite him to a private chatroom. I would then ask him why he did this and when he tells why he did this I would decide what to do with him
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member acts in a disrespectful manner towards another staff member and or sparks an argument within the staff team. How do you resolve the situation?
If the staff members were not on ts already I would tell them to come on. I would then move them both to a private chat room and I would tell them to calm down and to tell me what happened. When they tell me what happened I would ask them both to make up. If they do I would end it there but if they don't I would tell them how it is important to be respectful to each other and if they don't stop arguing I will have to bring it up in the next LT meeting.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
You spot a staff member breaking rules to the point of harming other users, how do you approach the staff member?
I would first tell him to come on teamspeak. Then I would invite him to a private chat room and ask him why he was rule breaking. Then I would decide how serious this rule breaking is. If the rule breaking is really bad then I would tell him that he is being demoted and I would demote them, I would inform another LT member about this. If it wasn't so serious I would tell them not to do it again and I would be keeping a close eye on them.
