I'm also active on the TeamSpeak server and on the forums, I go on every day, I try to interact with staff members and players and I do my best to handle correctly with rulebreakers. I've always helped new mods or admins when they needed help or were unsure about handling a situation and I do the same with players ingame. I’ve handled many situations in game and I also handled appeals on forums which prove that I am ready for the Super Administrator rank. I want to train the new staff members, explain them how to handle situations and I think I’m ready for this. What makes you a good candidate for the super administrator team? I think I can be a good SA because I’m really active on the Deathrun server as I play it about 2-3 hours per day and I’m very active on Teamspeak. I’ve handled some appeals on forums and participated to training with a LT staff. I also helped a few moderators when they needed help and a lot of player in game. I think I do a good job as an Administrator and it would be the same as Super Administrator. ACTIVITY: I’ve came back from a long break the 28th September and I wanted to be staff in Deathrun again. Then I’ve played it a lot and got Moderator the first week. I play on the server every day for like 1 hour/2 hours. I’m on TS every time I'm on my PC even if I'm not in game because I can be poke and then I will just come to see if someone needs help. I’m everyday on forums and I also check it every 20 mins to see what’s new. ATTITUDE: I think I’m friendly with all, I never disrespect or if I do that wasn't my intention, I'm dedicated to the server as I have a good activity and I think I can be trusted and I speak a lot in the text chat. When someone needs me I try my best to help him. I think I have a good relationship with all staff members and with players. EXPERIENCE: I’m Admin on Deathrun since now 3 months and 1 week. I’ve handled appeals on forums and also tried to help even when I wasn’t handling it like giving a proof of SteamID, a name, a rule, etc… and I think I could also handle the reports on staff members. I’ve been Admin in DR for 1 year and 3 months in the past which show that you can trust me. Explain a situation as an administrator you encountered that was an obstacle that required the help of a lead team member but you had to work around it when no lead team member was available: I won't lie I didn’t have any situations when LT member was needed. Except when I was Death and someone exploit and I can't see his name, if I could noclip I would just look at his name and warn him without asking users, also it happened only one time. Also one time, there was a player who has been accepted as Moderator but there wasn’t any SA or higher to train him so as a SA I could have done that. But I never really had a big problem when SA was needed. Explain how you would review and handle an abuse report against another staff member: If I have to handle a report abuse against a staff member, I would first speak with him via Steam or TS about the current situation. I will try to see if this staff member as already been reported or had any problems with other people. After I’ll try to speak with other staff member and then I’ll post my verdict. You were acctually breaking a rule and we suggest you to read again the rules. No actions will be taken against him. Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: A staff member bans a user for an excessive amount of time, how do you approach the staff member to ensure that everyone is treated fairly? I would first ask the staff member the reason of the ban and if the user has been banned recently and for the same reason. Then I will try to speak with the banned user to know his version. If he was right to ban him I would just ask him why he banned the user that long. If the player has made an appeal on forums I will handle it. If the ban is correct but too long I’ll try to explain the staff member how he should have handled the situation differently and how much time he should have banned the user. Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: A staff member is dealing with a user but is struggling to do so in an appropriate manner. How would you resolve the situation? I would first speak with the staff member on steam or TS and explain him how to handle the situation or I will handle it if he is really lost. If he is a new staff member, I would try to answer his questions and correct him if he’s wrong. If he needs more explanations I will take the time and explain him all he needs to know about commands or handling a situation. If he still making these mistakes, a retrain can be needed and I would do it. Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: A staff member accuses another staff member of breaking rules, how would you help resolve the situation? I would first speak with them separately in TS or Steam to understand the situation. If there is another staff member in game I would also speak with him. I would ask for any proof or evidence of the rule break. If they don't have any one I will just look at the staff member to see if he's doing anything wrong. If he’s not rule breaking, I will just explain why it’s not to the other staff member. But if they have proof of the staff member rule break I’ll verbally warn him and explain why it’s not allowed. If he does that again I could bring it to Lead Team meeting. Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: A staff member acts in a disrespectful manner towards another staff member and or sparks an argument within the staff team. How do you resolve the situation? I would first tell to the disrespecting staff member to stop and try to understand why he is disrespecting to help them. If he still continues then I will just talk with him on Steam or TS to warn him and to stop again. If he continues I could bring it to the Lead Team meeting. If he disrespect again, I could demote him until the meeting depending of the severity of his actions. Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: You spot a staff member breaking rules to the point of harming other users, how do you approach the staff member? I would quickly stop him because it give a bad reputation to the server and all the staff members and ask him why is he is acting like that. Then if the staff member was exploiting in game or anything else not allowed I would tell him to not do it again if he doesn’t want any punishments. If the staff member don’t want to stop I’ll bring it to the LT meeting. If the staff member was abusing with staff powers or continues even after I spoke with him I would demote him until the meeting where we will discuss about it.
