Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario: In Trouble in Terrorist Town, it is often required that there be enough evidence before killing someone, although the exact amount varies by server. Usually, RDMing happens when an Innocent kills someone who (as far as they know) is also Innocent or is a Detective. However, it can also happen when Traitors kill other Traitors. This can be especially frustrating to Traitors who have done nothing wrong.
RDMing will lower a player's karma. (If enabled)
Shooting players because they "looked at you funny", were near a dead body, or stopped moving for a moment to "purchase from the T store".
Some servers allow you to claim rooms and shoot anyone who enters. Others consider this RDMing.
Some servers allow you to shoot someone who is following you after you express that you don't want them near you. Others consider this RDMing.
As a Traitor, you are standing at a high vantage point with another Traitor friend who suddenly starts openly sniping Innocents. The Innocents notice and fire back, calling on you for backup. Although you may want to fumble a bit to buy him time, if your Traitor friend is trapped then he is as good as dead anyway. Killing him may be considered "maintaining your cover" to build trust with the Innocents rather than to waste his death. However, this may be considered RDMing on some servers.
There are some cases where RDMing is called out inappropriately.
A Traitor is killing Innocents and kills someone who completely believes him to be Innocent.
An Innocent sees a Traitor do something traitorous, such as pull out a silenced weapon and put it away, setting a C4, hanging a body, entering a room with an Innocent and murdering them in cold blood, etc. If the Traitor believes they were unseen for all of that (or were unaware that they were walking around with a silenced sniper out), they may mistakenly call RDM. Note that innocents can pick up a Traitor's tools after they die and that some maps spawn in silenced weapons.
A Traitor should never call someone out as RDMing if they were not, especially if the Traitor opened fire first. They should always listen to the guilty party's justifications and should be reasonably forgiving. There should be some leeway regarding misunderstandings, but repeated "mistakes" may result in a ban and will definitely result in lower karma.
Give three examples of an acceptable KOS and its scenario: ACCEPTABLE KOS 1: You walk into a room and see a guy named Yung Henny stab someone in the face with a knife, you can them KOS them.
ACCEPTABLE KOS 2: You are chilling and you see a guy called notsosneakyboi to go into the t room, you can then KOS them
Acceptable KOS 3: You are hiding in the map community pool and zoom in with your sniper and see a guy called HatchMLG69 kill a guy called confusedbanana27 in plain sight, you can then kos HatchMLG69
Acceptable KOS 4 (bonus cuz thug life); you are walking and then for no reason, this guy named mongboy starts shooting at you, you can then KOS them.
Give two examples of unacceptable KOS and their scenarios:
1. It is not RDM if the victim is refusing to enter a traitor tester when 2+ people or the detective is present.
2. It is not RDM if the victim is following a player who has issued three or more warnings to stop following.
Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 100 words): There are quite a few times when I have been on and there is like no mods on and there are lots of people RDMing. And there are people who are just straight up RDMing each other because they think nothing will happen if no mods are on which in most cases is the truth. And this just ruins the fun because nobody wants to get their glorious t round after waiting like 6 rounds for it to be taken away by a guy who thinks it is OK to RDM. If you give me the opportunity to be a mod I can handle the reports and clean up the mess in the server and maybe even if other mods are on but they had a really hard day at work or something and they just wanna relax and play without having to worry about reports I got them covered. I am usually on a lot on the server so I can take care of things often. I will obviously need the rundown real quick like I know rules on servers vary like in some servers you can KOS someone but others you can't and some servers have T RDM and D RDM two slays vs one and others have just one slay.
