Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario:

Random Death Match (or short "RDM") is the act of fighting other players without any valid roleplay - reason.
This includes crossfire.

RDM Example: A wanted person kills a cop who is afk in spawn.
The player had no reason to kill the officer, as there was no attempt to arrest him at that point of time.
Thus RDM.

Not RDM Example: A thief is lockpicking the door of a Gun Dealer, who then continues to shoot at the thief.
Lockpicking his door was clearly a vaid reason to shoot / kill the player.



Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario:

The New Life Rule (or short "NLR") restricts players from going back to their district of death for 3 minutes.
They also have to act as if they forgot everything from their past life.

NLR Example: An gangster was killed in his base during a raid. After dying he instantly runs back to his basement and tries to fight the raiders.

Not NLR Example: An officer was killed while trying to defend the Police Department, after respawning he returns to the PD.
PD raids are an exception to the NLR Rule, thus the officer did not break the NLR Rule.



Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.

After approaching the reporter to ask him for proof / his side of the story, i would try to get both players to a roof so I can also listen to the reporters view on the situation. I would then ask the reporter for proof and make sure to validate everyones story using logs. Using logs, the proof and everyones story I judge whether RDM occured or not, if the reported player did indeed RDM I'd take a look at his rapsheet to get further information on how to punish the player. I would also make sure there isn't any open questions on both sides and then explain the broken rule to the reported player (unless he clearly knows, eg. many warns for RDM already). If the proof isn't substancial enough, or the reporters story contradicts with it, I would have to finish the sit after asking whether anyone needs further help with something. It is important to explain why I have to end the sit.


Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.

Similar approach as before, I listen to both sides and ask for any available proof. I would try to ask specific questions that can clear missunderstandings, it is often easier to just specificially ask whether he did xy (return within 3 mins in this case, for example). If it turns out that the reported player (player y) broke NLR I would try to find an appropiate punishment based on his rapsheet and attitude. If the proof isn't enough or the story of the reporter contradicts with it I would have to end the sit, as before it is important to explain why I end the sit. After asking if anyone needs further help I would return both players.

Why I should be chosen:

I have shown a lot of dedication during the past weeks, I have made many F1 reports aswell as punishment requests on the forums to assist the staff team as much as I can. I am an active player who can put alot of effort into staffing and I want to improve as much as I can. I have actively asked for feedback and improved on my activity and rules knowledge.
This is the third time I apply for the position of a moderator, which proves that I am dedicated and have the patience and maturity to wait untill the staff team thinks I am capable of becoming one. I would also like to mention that I have changed my attitude to the good and have proven that over the past weeks.
Constructive feedback on me and my application would be greatly appreciated.

Good application, consistent activity, one recent punishment, good understanding of the rules. Yourself had an inconvenience with several staff members the previous week but have apologized for your actions, and that's something i highly respect.

What happened last week is, hopefully, behind us all. You are indeed a very benevolent guy and i see you as a great Moderator someday. Don't acquire any more recents and just keep doing what you're doing and you will, without doubt, have my vote!

Gody is an extremely active user. His application is detailed which implies he is determined to join the ranks within the staff team. Aside from his one recent punishment, I have seen a formidable change in attitude compared to the Gody I once knew.

Was hoping for a genuine change, you just had to say your attitude is completely fine and then go off at JMT although his attitude has actually changed and he has shown for a while that he can keep his attitude consistent,

I believe that you will and can change, but don't go on other ZARP Servers doing this expecting to not get called out for it whatsoever, I was going to leave this because I do believe you are attempting to change, but changes are still need to be made as shown, I wish you best of luck with your application, because I know you will make a good moderator, but just not right now.
