Someone wanted a peppermint, so I gave it, but it was too spicy. So I gave that person a dog instead

Congratulation on becoming a moderator on the ZARP Surf server! As a moderator you have access to commands, but no abusing them! If you need any help just ask me or other staff members, even Taylor! And remember to always stay awesome, and to not cheat, abuse, hack, bully, harass, call someone the n-word, and the most important of all, be positive.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for Cheating, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?

I believe that peppermints are very spicy, I am active, cool, I am not a skateboarder, I love chicken, and I have never been to the USA before! I am trusted and experienced! I am active in the meetings, and I come to them often!
