About Me
Hello,
I am Nafe, I began playing ZARP during 2014 around January time. I joined through the old Jailbreak server and have been playing within the community ever since. My staffing experience here began on Jailbreak (circa 2014) as a moderator, to which I eventually made it to administrator through promotion given without application. I ended up staying with Jailbreak until it’s demise and actively managed it despite it’s very low player count, at this point I wasn’t at all aware of any other servers within ZARP except for the forums and the Teamspeak.
I later joined SSRP a few weeks before the Jailbreak server was closed, through this server I met some staff members who some may know as TiGtZeR, KPro, DCX and a few others. Through these guys I decided I would attempt to stick with DarkRP and learn the gamemode, which at the time was something you sort of had to do or you would just get banned or something along those lines.
I must of only played a few months before deciding to go for staff by the time bloc_42 rolled back around, I was accepted on June, 2014 and remained staff up until I was demoted by an ex-owner for not doing my job approximately three months after I obtained the position.
I later came back to SSRP a year later and tried to go for staff again, which I was accepted for as a moderator and tried to go through the process of getting administrator but was never successful. I later gave up and decided to resign and ended up becoming a huge rulebreaker with a terrible attitude, that we all know today as “Gamersfunhouse”.
Skipping forward to today I am known as Nafe and I am currently an SSRP super administrator, with a great attitude and well respected within the community. I am staff on Jailbreak, the Teamspeak and Discord. I also temporarily worked on the Wikipedia for a few weeks alongside Rick Johnson but this was only the NPC’s category and the vehicle category, we didn’t progress any further.
I am also working on becoming staff on a few other servers I used to be staff on, in specific Surf. I am an ex lead team member on Surf and I enjoyed it very much, I resigned because of interest in other things irl and losing interest in Surf in general.
I want to go over some reasons now as to why I believe you should accept me as an head administrator so I can progress further into the SSRP team.
My Leadership Qualities
I am always actively on SSRP during its busiest times, specifically the update launch days. During these days you’ll see a lot of f1’s pop up, relating to either bug reports, client sided issues or rulebreaks. There’s a magnitude of different things that can be brought up through F1’s, the only problem is getting staff to respond to those F1’s. Which I believe I do a reasonably good job at doing, firstly i’ll ask in admin chat or through Steam (if I have to get staff on) if the staff could help out with the F1’s.
If the staff refuse to do the F1’s or ignore me I would either firstly teleport to them and ask them to do the reports, if they fail to provide a reason to do so then I would let them know there would be repercussions if they continue to refuse to do them. Normally just asking in admin chat works 90% of the time, so it’s rare I have to take the 1:1 action with a person.
I usually also get a lot of people who come to me for help, to which I gladly accept doing. Either through messages on Steam or other services. I don’t want to go into detail on this as it’s mostly the same for everyone, you should be going out of your way to help people deal with stuff regardless of your position in the staff team or even the community.
My Activity
I have mentioned this on my super admin application but I believe I am one of the most active players within the ssrp servers on a week to week basis, I try to log on every day for a few hours and balance roleplay and lead team duties. I am also on the Teamspeak every day talking to the rest of the lead team or members of the ssrp serves, I actively talk in OOC in game and always respond to anyone who has questions.
My Experience
This will be a new experience for me in terms of holding the position and learning how to use my new powers. But for the current experience I have got through being lead team on SSRP and staff on the other zarp servers, I believe it has all added up and has brought me to the belief I can now happily apply for this position without worrying about needing to learn new things.
My Goals
My goals as a head administrator would be these things in short:
- Allow moderators to feel like they can actively rely on their higher ups more than they currently do.
- Sort out the issue with staff blatantly ignoring F1’s when they assume their is nobody else checking up on them.
- Help improve the meetings by actively making sure staff become more vocal about their opinions on applicants.
Other than that I am extremely happy with how the staff team is run and I believe the current lead team is doing a great job, I believe it has been long before I was on the team and would not change anything else about it.
I am open to all criticism and happily take it all in. I really appreciate you taking the time to read my application, have a good day.
