Time Zone: CET (UTC+1) Link to Steam Profile: martingamingx SteamID: STEAM_0:0:75619383 Current Gametracker Profiles: Server 1 - Martin Server 2 - Martin Older Gametracker Profiles: Server 1 - MartinGamingX, MartinGaming, |Z| Martin Server 2 - MartinGaming, |Z| Martin Estimated Server Time: ~ 200h Languages I speak: German (native), English Previous Staff-Position: SSRP-Admin from December 2015 to March 2016 (Resigned) Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario: Explanation: Random Death Match is the act of intentionally killing another player without having a valid role-play reason to do so. Example: Henrietta the SWAT Leader decides to go on a murderous rampage at spawn. He instantly kills everyone in sight. He commits "Mass RDM" (Special form of Random Death Match, in which the suspect kills a large number of people) Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario: Explanation: You cannot enter or interact with the district you have died in for three minutes after respawning. If you died in the spawn district, you have to leave it immediately. Other rules may state exceptions to the New Life Rule (eg. NLR does not apply for police officers in the Police District) Example: Gunther the Gangster gets killed during a raid on his base filled with his precious printers. After respawning, he immediately runs back to his base to stop the raid. Once he enters the district his base is in, Gunther breaks the New Life Rule. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x. After bringing both players to a safe place, I would explain the situation. Following the explanation, I would give player y an opportunity on admitting his offense. If he does not admit his offense, or questions the description of the situation, I would ask player x, if he can prove, that player x has commited said offense. If he can provide sufficient evidence, I would tell player y what exactly he has done wrong and give him a warning. If he cannot provide said evidence, I would start an open discussion on the situation until either player y admits his offense or I notice that the situation cannot be resolved. After that, both players are brought back to their original position or to spawn. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time. Why I should be chosen(we recommend around 150 words): I have gathered valuable staff experience over the years both from being an active staff member here on ZARP a few years ago, from smaller personal projects and other staff positions in different games. I am pretty familiar with the server rules and the administrative systems that are in place on the ZARP SSRP-Servers to enforce them. I know pretty well, how to handle difficult staff situations and how to work with "difficult" people. In general I am a pretty calm guy. I very rarely get angry at stuff. While playing on SSRP Servers, I try to enforce a high grade of role-play. I try to experiment with lots of different personalities and characters. I rarely fall out of character. I think I would be a good fit for your team and I hope, that I could convince you to give me a chance. With that said, I hope to see you on the staff team pretty soon! |

Thanks for applying for staff at ZARP DarkRp! During our weekly staff meeting your application, question answers, game trackers and in-game warnings are checked and then the staff team votes on your application. This time, the staff team have decided that you still need to work on your application and then apply again next week. To try and help you they have summarised some positives & negatives discussed during the meeting: Needs to get better activity. You can apply again at any time, and thanks for supporting ZARP! |
