Hello, this is a re-edit of my old staff application which had a few flaws, it was an old application when rules were different and some stuff has been changed, I took the time to carefully read through all the replies to see how I could fix my staff application and fix my understanding of the new rules, I have played for 2 weeks now and have fully understood the newer rules that have been implemented. Thanks so much to everyone who helped point out the errors, especially House and DrConor.

Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario:

Random Death Match, also know as RDM, is where a player intentionally kills another player without reason, such as if a player (Innocent) were to be walking around, then another player (Innocent) came along and killed them without reason, that would be classed as RDM. This also applies to traitors killing other traitors.

Give three examples of an acceptable KOS and its scenario:

Players can be "KOS'd" if:
A: A player was caught killing other terrorists.
B: If you see someone prop killing.
C: Witnessing someone enter Traitor room.

Scenario A: A scenario of witnessing someone kill someone else would play out where you must not shout KOS unless you have gathered enough evidence, you must call a detective to scan for DNA and check the body to see what the player was killed with, however if enough evidence is collected it is then OK to call KOS and or shoot at the suspected killer.

Scenario B: Another player is using their Magneto Stick to pick up a prop, such as a minecart, to kill others with by swinging it around and hitting people and killing them, or forcefully pushing them and damaging them. If they kill multiple people by this method, and is clearly shown the first time wasn't an accident, then you may KOS.

Scenario C: If you see someone hanging around the traitor room area, the likelihood is that they're waiting for the area to be cleared of people so they can walk in without being seen, however, if you do witness someone who has walked into the Traitor room, then you can call KOS on them, unless of course they were innocent and died when walking in, as they can't access the Traitor only room, hence they died, its best to id the body as with most other bodies you find.

Give two examples of unacceptable KOS and their scenarios:

A: Using Traitor weapon.
B: Tampering with A C4.

Scenario A: If a player has killed a traitor, they may come to find the traitor has a useful and special weapon, which is only available through Traitor shop, and they may want to pick it up because it could be useful to them. This is an issue because many players will recognize that they are holding a Traitor only weapon and immediately call KOS on them. However this can be avoided by the person who has found the traitor gun, announces in CHAT, not just voice chat, and say that they're now using a traitor gun, they can avoid the KOS because everyone will know that they killed a traitor for that gun, and is not one.

Scenario B: If a player were to discover a C4, then they must say in chat that they have done so. The best case is to call a detective, but if the player were to attempt to snap the wires, then it might look suspicious. They can avoid being called for KOS by announcing in chat they they have found a C4 and they are attempting to defuse it, although as stated, its best to call a detective to defuse it, however if none is available, then it's best to tell everyone to clear that area, however if they do go through with defusing the c4, then after announcing in chat they are doing so, they might want to keep the c4 to ensure traitors cant re-activate it or reuse it, this is another thing they should announce into chat, so that people know they have special traitor equipment, same as getting a traitor weapon.

Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 100 words):

I think I should be chosen because I know I have the dedication and strive to make it into the team. I am active for around a minimum of 4 hours a day, although recently I have been pulling off a minimum of 8 HOURS a DAY, whereas the standard is 4 hours a week, I can put in a minimum of 30 hours PLUS a week MINIMUM, this means I will be constantly active and always around to help out players when they need it most!

I have NEVER been warned for RDM or any other punishable things so far and I have been playing for quite a long time (as of writing around 100 hours of game play on this server). I also make sure that I gather up enough evidence before killing or reporting for RDM, this is to ensure that all reports get handled correctly and fairly.

I can work quickly and devote a lot of time into making sure everyone is having a good time and their problems get sorted. I am a nice person and like to get on with others, I take everyone's fun seriously and make sure there are no trolls, RDM'ers or false KOS'ers anywhere in sight, so everyone can have a good time.

I can also help when people spawn in stuck, or get stuck after teleporting through nether, I can get them out by using TP, this is important because people are more or less ALWAYS getting stuck somewhere, somehow, ensuring they enjoy the rest of their game.

I am always open to doing reports and helping people out and answering any questions they have for me.
Also, around 2 am UK time, there are NO moderators or Admins on, and there is mass RDM all the time, people have probably complained about it, but I'm always on around these times, and that's another reason why I should be chosen, because I can ensure everyone's having fun and not being RDM'd at ALL times, and even wayyy later, ensuring that fun fair play is ALWAYS available to the community!

I am constantly active and play basically all day, everyday. I enjoy talking and playing with the community, and would love to be there for everyone. I have put a lot of time and effort into the server and this application, and I hope you consider my application

Well thats a lengthy application, nice!

Tho there are a few errors:
-Only Detectives can force to test someone
-you are not required to double test (or even triple)
-if you pick up and use a T weapon as Inno you must announce it in chat if you dont want to be KOSed
-you can call KOSes on someone when they ignore C4s, you dont necessairly have to gather DNA

Your why should you be choosen part is pretty good and of from that I think you'd be a good Mod, but for this week I suggest you re-learn the rules and pay close attention to their details and in addition to that you could stay on the server to prove your dedication and that you can have a constant activity.

If you do that I'm sure that at the end of the next week you'll be Mod, but for this week its a

Your application is ok but has some minor mistakes such as your unacceptable kos examples. For example 1 you put "Using Traitor's weapon" using a Traitor weapon is a kosable act unless that person has said in chat that they have found the traitor weapon, For example 2 you put "KOS for player trying to defuse C4" If a player is standing next to a C4 and looking at it and fails to call out in chat that they have found a C4 that player can have a kos put on them.

Overall I recommend you improve your activity aswell as your rule knowledge. Goodluck.

My Thoughts:

• Like others pointed out : 2 weeks of consistent activity is strongly recommended when going for a staff role.
(I also found some other game trackers you had, try not to change your name when building activity as it creates a new profile on game tracker for it)


• Decent application very detailed.

You just recently came back, and we recommend at least 2 weeks of activity in order to ensure commitment to the server. Your application is also detailed and you have former experience, but you should wait a bit longer in order to remind yourself of the rules. As long as you can keep consistent activity throughout the week, I feel you will be a good candidate in the future.

Thanks for the advice, this was an old application I put in a year and a half ago which got me hired, guess rules have changed since Thanks bro, I'll make sure to change it up!

Personally i don't think your fit for staff i've been on doing reports when fspec and when people come on and troll you seem to join in with them. Also there are a few mistakes as Dr House pointed out

I used to be a staff member and was good at it tbh, not too bad having a bit of fun with the community is it, no one likes a downer, just having a bit of fun. and yeah I'll update the application it was my old one which got me in last time so I thought it was good but a few rules have been changed around it seems since a year and a half ago

Yeah, I'm now re-adapting to the new rules, I didn't realize there were some till a few moments after I published this application, haha, I'm getting used to the new rules and I still love this game, I'd love to be part of staff to help the community again! Hopefully next week with a new mind and a new staff app, I remember most of the commands as staff, dont know if any of them changed or not, but hopefully I make it and will learn them Also, thanks for all the replies by the way guys!

Application has quite a few errors and your activity is extremely low. Give it another week or so and play consistently, get a better understanding of the rules, and re-apply.
