How do you feel that your time as an administrator has contributed to becoming a super administrator:
My time as an Admin on both SSRP and Jailbreak have prepared me by putting me in difficult situations that I have had to overcome. I believe I have the skills necessary to becoming lead team.
What makes you a good candidate for the super administrator team?:
When I started playing ZARP servers in 2015 I had no real sense of what I was doing. I started to take the server serious in 2017 by becoming admin on SSRP. Now that SSRP has died down a bit I decided to look for other server that peaked my interests. Jailbreak is always fun whether i'm just playing with a friends doing LRs or a full server, and I want other people to be able to feel the same way about it.
Dedication
I have been staff on 3 ZARP servers. I am formerly and SSRP Admin two times and am currently a Surf Moderator. I am also often on the forums and always on discord. When I was SSRP Admin I tried to handle appeals whenever I could, and made sure I knew a whole situation before coming to a verdict.
Activity
Over the past two summers I have manged to rack up over 2000 hours on gmod alone. Even with school going on I try and get decent activity on the server I am dedicated to.
Explain a situation as an administrator you encountered that was an obstacle that required the help of a lead team member but you had to work around it when no lead team member was available:
This isn't exactly for Jailbreak, but when I was Admin on SSRP about a year ago there was a blatant hacker on the server. It was late at night and was unable to get a LT member online to anti-cheat him, so I froze him and talked to him and eventually got him to admit, after I told him to turn them off and rejoin if he wishes to play. Once he rejoined he was not cheating that I could tell, and started to actually enjoy the server.
Explain how you would review and handle an abuse report against another staff member:
First I would look over all evidence provided in the report to get a good understanding of the report. Then I would ask the staff about what happened and if the user left anything out in the report. Then determine if the staff member was uninformed or they knew what they did was handled incorrectly. Then post an outcome on the report letting the user know if the staff member was punished.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member bans a user for an excessive amount of time, how do you approach the staff member to ensure that everyone is treated fairly?
I would contact the staff member and ask them if they thought the punishment was excessive. If there was more to the story that made the punishment valid I would ask them for that. If the punishment was excessive and they agree after talking to them it would be changed to fit the severity of the issue.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member is dealing with a user but is struggling to do so in an appropriate manner. How would you resolve the situation?
First, I would try and get a grasp on how the staff member is handling reports and various challenges. Then I would handle the situation and try to teach that staff member what he could've done differently to make it easier.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member accuses another staff member of breaking rules, how would you help resolve the situation?
I would ask the both staff members for their sides of the story or evidence of the accused doing so. After, if the staff member in question was breaking a rule I would deem if it would be solved by informing them or if it is necessary to bring them up in a LT meeting.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member acts in a disrespectful manner towards another staff member and or sparks an argument within the staff team. How do you resolve the situation?
I would take into consideration if these two staff members have disagreed any time previously. If it was something that a certain staff member did not like being called, such as a nickname. I would contact the staff member calling them that name and explain to them why the other staff member does not like it, and ask them to stop. If it was more serious, like constant harassment or harmful messages they would be brought up in the next LT meeting.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
You spot a staff member breaking rules to the point of harming other users, how do you approach the staff member?
Depending on the exact situation and emergency demotion could be necessary. If the staff member was breaking a minor rule that they did not know they had broke, they would be informed and spoken to about why it is wrong. The staff member would be brought up in the next LT meeting.
