[REVOKED]
Due to poor inactivity, and not realising a special forums meeting will be held the 7th of October, I have decided to revoke this application. I thought the meeting would be held at the end of the month, which was an error at my hand. Within this time I won't be able to prove myself to be consistently active, hence why I have revoked. The best of luck to all other applicants!
Rick Johnson's Section Moderator Application
Appeals Steam Name: Espen A. Charm Forum Name: Rick Johnson What server(s) are you active on?: SSRP I am From: Time spent with ZARP Gaming?: I have been a part of this community somewhere in between three to four years at this point, and needless to say I have grown as a person. When I first joined this community, I was quite young and very much unaware of the rules and suffice to say I was a tad bit of a minge. However, over the years I have been invested in multiple communities and overall that has changed me as a person entirely. To go from being a total minge to having an administrator position on ZARP SSRP is great. I will expand my role within this community in the future. In fact, this thread would represent my expansion quite well; I want to become a bigger part of this community and I want to contribute in different ways other than staffing on SSRP and handling appeals/reports. I truly and sincerely do want what is best for this community and I believe one of my first steps should be to expand my role as a staff member to the forums instead of being an administrator on the servers only in order to show my dedication ot the community. How often do you come on the forums: I am online at all times, excluding work and school hours. I always have multiple tabs open at all times. I frequently refresh and check most sections to see if there is anything that would require my attention. In fact, despite my recent business with my website, I am still very active on the forums. Why You?: I feel as though I am generally more of a forums person more than anything. I really enjoy writing detailed, constructive and helpful replies to threads and I usually point out any errors on a thread if I see some. While I don't have a huge amount of posts, the vast majority of them are of great quality and are very detailed. I don't have a problem with which section to moderate, and I am confident that regardless of what section I apply for I will do a great job. In this case, I am applying for the section moderator rank of the Appeals section; I fully realise that my posts in this section are low, but I hope to immensely increase the number of posts in that section by the next meeting. As far as moderating experience on the forum goes, I think I have sufficient experience. Although I haven't yet been a moderator on this forum specifically, I have been a moderator and an administrator on other forums. I suppose that doesn't directly translate to experience on this forums, but I would think it'd suffice. I trust that whatever information I need to know will be given to me as I get the rank, so considering that I find myself to be quite capable experience-wise. I also want to point out that my dedication to this forum and ZARP, in general, is very high. I only ever take a break if it's completely necessary. In fact, even though I have had times where I haven't been able to go in-game (this week included) I have always been and still am very active on the forums, whether it's reading, posting or replying to threads. I am a trusted member of the community. I don't think any staff member has a problem with me as far as trust goes. In fact, I have been a very good contributor when it comes to helping the staff team whether or not it's talking to another staff member about handling situations, verdicts, etc. A lot of people can vouch for this and I think it really goes to show that I want what is best for this community, thus proving that I am in fact a trustworthy member of the staff team. Thank you for reading my application! Feedback is greatly appreciated. |

The point is that you need to prove you can consistently be active, a month's time span proves this. Not just the week you are applying. You have 2 posts in the appeals section in the last 30 days. I'll be watching the section like a hawk and try to contribute as much as I can. There's a difference between being consistently active on a section and actively replying to threads in said section. I realise that it might look bad that I don't reply to threads but that's either because I see no point in farming posts by writing ![]() ![]() or because I literally spend too much time replying to the thread only to post it when the thread is locked. (Yes, that has happened way too many times at this point.) Regardless, I will be taking your criticism and try to express my activity by showing more consistent activity via my replies. Thanks! |
