Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario:
RDM is when an individual is killed for absolutely no reason whatsoever. An example could be, Player X was in spawn and just joined the game, only to get sniped by Player Y. Player X was not actively raiding, or doing anything which could deemed as KOSable, so Player Y committed RDM and will be punished due to these actions as Player X was completely innocent during this encounter. Another example would be if Player X was walking down the street and killed by someone at random, although similiar to the first situation I described, this is different as it did not occur in spawn. I would have to check the logs to see if Player X was killed since they were breaking NLR. If this would not the case, I would have to ask why Player Y killed him. If his story or evidence is not sufficient, I would have to ask for evidence before punishing.
Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario:
New Life Rule is when a user is killed in a certain district, and returns before the 3 minutes is up. This is fairly easy to notice, as it can be shown if the user has returned in the time span. An example would be if Player X went to electric district and attempted to raid. He dies, however, he returns before NLR is up. I will notice this and question him as to why he was returned in such a short amount of time. Failure to provide adequate evidence could result in a punishment if I deem in necessary due to the circumstances.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.
I would ask for the full story from both sides. If they both add up, I would be able to punish Player Y, as he admitted to his fault. If the stories do not add up, I would require Player X to provide evidence of the RDM. Failure of Player X to provide evidence, I would have to ask him to either send me evidence through steam or another platform, otherwise, I would have to deny his request for punishment of Player Y and would ask him to make a forum post if he fails to provide me necessary evidence.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.
I would question Player Y why he would return to that district despite breaking NLR. Failing to provide a sufficient answer, I would administer any punishment I deem necessary in that situation, If Player Y admits to breaking NLR, then punishing him would be much simpler as he admitted to his fault. However, if Player Y provides a valid reason as to why this occurred, but Player X is still extremely adamant about his position and refuses to believe that Player Y was not in the wrong, I would ask for the required evidence. Failure to provide such evidence would result in me telling him to make a forum post if he feels as though a punishment is still required in this event.
Why I should be chosen(we recommend around 150 words):
I believe I should be chosen as I have been proven to be a responsible staff member on two other Zarp servers (TTT, PH). I have also obtained quite the fondness for SSRP, and I love playing on the server and I am enjoying my time on it. However, rule breakers do run quite rampant at the later times so I feel I would be a valuable asset to control such reckless behaviour at later times. I feel as though I have proved myself capable of this role, and with no recents and good activity, I feel I am prepared for the role of moderator.
