How do you feel that your time as an administrator has contributed to becoming a super administrator:

After my promotion to the admin role - I was given an insight into the additional powers and responsibilites that are expected to be upheld by an admin. Combined with my consistent activity in-game, I feel I have developed my knowledge and understanding of the Prop Hunt rules and the most efficient way to enforce them while also paying respect to the ZARP Staff Ethos and displaying a friendly and approachable image of the Prop Hunt staff team (and the ZARP community in general).

My service within the Prop Hunt staff team as both a moderator and admin have allowed me to participate as a team player in meetings and discussions and gain an insight into how the Prop Hunt lead team operates; which I was once familiar with except for TTT. I have also had the opportunity to fine tune my skills as a staff member after not being in the community for a considerable length of time and I now feel like I am ready to move onto the next step.

What makes you a good candidate for the super administrator team? ( in this part you can go as detailed as you want):

Previously I was fortunate enough to be selected to become a member of the TTT lead team and eventually rose to the rank of Head Admin and served that role for a decent period of time. During this time, I had the opportunity to experience situations I handled well and other situations that I did not handle so well (cough cough CeeZee cough cough).

I feel I have successfully upheld the attitude I had once before but I am determined to improve on it. I was once a transparent, honest, dedicated and reliable lead team member and I am insistent on returning to the prestigious position I once held. I currently do my best to get involved with the community more than I did in the past on the forums, in TeamSpeak, in our staff discords and of course in-game.

I feel I am engaging a lot with the community and the Prop Hunt lead team with the hopes of displaying that I am capable of becoming the once friendly and approachable lead team member I was before. This community means a lot to me, there are some fantastic people that reside within the playerbase that have made great company during dark periods within my life just before I left the community for a while. Since my return to the community I have been keen to get back on my feet and plan to stick around for the foreseeable future.

Getting back into the lead team would be a good achievement for me. I have bigger aspirations for ZARP but they can't always fulfilled.

Explain a situation as an administrator you encountered that was an obstacle that required the help of a lead team member but you had to work around it when no lead team member was available:

Any encounter with potential ghosters warrants the attention of a lead team member at this current moment in time and sometimes lead team members aren't always available unfortunately. When a lead team member is not available to assist with the situation, I often withdraw myself from the game and sit in spectator mode. I monitor the players' behaviour and try to spot any patterns that may indicate ghosting.

If I feel they are ghosting, I often try to force them onto the same team after a round has finished. Doing this means it makes it harder for the potential ghosters to continue doing so as they have to consistently switch team back and forth.

Explain how you would review and handle an abuse report against another staff member:

Reports on staff members should be handled in a very similar format to how regular reports are handled.

My initial review would consist of an analysis of the narrative provided by the reporting party and any evidence to support their claims. Should I feel that the supplied evidence (if applicable) is insufficient, I would flag this up to the reporting party as an issue. Doing this allows the reporting party to go back and validate whether or not they've submitted a complete report - perhaps they missed out a screenshot or two that was crucial to the their story?

From there, I would contact the report staff member(s) to get their insight (and evidence, if applicable) into the story. It is crucial to remember that there are always two sides to every story and handling a report without considering everyone's stories would be a form of bias. Should I find any inconsistency in stories, I would flag this up and scrutinise certain points made by either side with the intent of finding out what is true and what is false.

To conclude the handling of the report, I would go over the story once more and review it alongside the supplied evidence by the reporting party. The main questions to consider are:

1. Does the report highlight a valid instance of abusive behaviour from the reported staff member?
2. Is there evidence to prove this behaviour?
3. What is the best way to resolve this report, i.e. demotion, simple admonishment?
4. How can we conclude this report with minimal drama caused?

Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member bans a user for an excessive amount of time, how do you approach the staff member to ensure that everyone is treated fairly?

Staff members banning players for an "excessive" amount of time implies that the staff member(s) are banning players for a period of time that is more than necessary.

Having found this out, I would attempt to contact the staff member privately to discuss their actions, it is important to understand why they are banning players excessively in order to address the issue.

Keeping in mind, it is extremely important that all staff members treat the player population fairly as we have to uphold a global ethos and represent the community when players join the ZARP game servers. I find that incidents like this can easily be resolved by a simple chat, with the intent of highlighting how important it is to treat players fairly and consider how they might feel if they were banned excessively.

Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member is dealing with a user but is struggling to do so in an appropriate manner. How would you resolve the situation?

Depending on the level of severity of the inappropriate manner-ism(?), I would step in and advise the staff member to take a step back and re-evaluate their stance on handling the situation, reminding them it's important to treat every situation fairly and with a good attitude to not affect your perception. From there, I would shadow the staff member to ensure they are not continuing to handle the situation poorly.

Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member accuses another staff member of breaking rules, how would you help resolve the situation?

Accusations without evidence cannot be actioned fairly. I would ask the accusing staff member to supply evidence of these claims as there is not much I can do to assist otherwise. Should they have evidence, I personally feel that inter-staff reports should be kept internal to the lead team. From my experience in the past posting reports on other staff members only causes unnecessary drama. RIP CeeZee.

Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member acts in a disrespectful manner towards another staff member and or sparks an argument within the staff team. How do you resolve the situation?

In a team, it is important that everyone works together - regardless of whether or not they get along. The argument would have to be defused quickly. As a hypothetical lead team member, I would intervene and attempt to calm both staff members down before opening a dialog to try and find out what has caused the argument.

Inter-staff drama within a staff team can escalate beyond simple management if not handled appropriately and swiftly.

Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
You spot a staff member breaking rules to the point of harming other users, how do you approach the staff member?

Depending on the staff member's level of experience, I would take my approach in one of two ways:

Approach them directly and advise to avoid the behaviour in question as it is in violation of the server rules. It would also be important to remind them of the ZARP staff ethos in this situation as it plays a crucial role in how a staff member should operate.

More serious cases where experienced staff members, who should know better, should be escalated to the entire lead team for handling. I would document the incident, typically in a video format for clear analysis by other lead team members.

You've been admin two weeks (Correct me if I'm wrong) and I prefer for applicants to have 3-4 weeks of consistently doing their job as an administrator. You were a great head administrator in the past but I feel you need some more time, good luck!

EDIT: also you missed out a question.

I'm not sure if your an ex-staff member but it's still a bit too soon for you as you just got admin. Show a good presence in your meetings, show leadership skills, be active on forums and TeamSpeak, and speak with the PropHunt LT a lot. Good Luck!

Ex TTT HA. He sure as hell can handle the role, I won't deny that, but I'd like to see maybe a week or so more as an admin.

Judging by the criteria you supplied in your own post I'd say I'm ready. But meh, each to their own.

I have re-considered my current place within the PH staff team and have decided to revoke this application for the time being.

@BossComic23 - I apologise for making any aggressive advances on you, your criticisms are fair and somewhat accurate.

I think you must state in the app itself that you revoked.
