Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin:
As a moderator, I had 61 f1s last week which averages out to around 9 f1s per day. I feel I deal with F1s to a high standard and always try to help users even when they have not created an f1. It is currently my 5th week of being SSRP Moderator (in total) as this is my second time being Mod. I have a great knowledge of the rules and feel I am ready to go to the next step.
Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user):
Obviously, the main problems are to deal with LTAP, sometimes a user will simply just leave when I am addressing them and I have to request someone to ban them (which sometimes takes time). Another problem is the inability to use the physgun to quickly pick someone up and freeze them. I would be able to stop rule breakers a lot quicker with this and prevent some problems.
If you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?:
Congratulations on becoming moderator!
First, I want you to open this link: [Link to staff ethos]
[Read ethos with extra depth to it to give a deeper understanding]
After giving them the ethos and explaining them with some context to it, I would start to go through the commands and how to use the admin tool with them.
Teleport commands:
/bring | Brings the target to you
/tp | Teleports the target to where you are looking, if no target is selected then the user is automatically selected.
/goto | Teleports the user to the target
/back | Teleports the user back to the position they were at before being teleported.
/backspawn | Teleports the target back to spawn
Punishment commands:
/voicemute name time (seconds) | This is used to prevent the target from using their microphone for a set amount of time.
/chatmute name time (seconds) | This is used to prevent the target from using text chat or a set amount of time.
/warn steamid | This is used to to give the target a warning if they break a rule, such as RDM.
/slay name type | This is used to kill the target
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that another admin banned them permanently for prop-spam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?
Hello [name],
After reviewing your ban, I have decided to lower it to two weeks as this is a serious offence and the banning admin and I have decided that though you seem extremely apologetic, this should not be taken lightly, and doing such again will just give you a slimmer chance of getting unbanned, please learn from this mistake.
Why I should be promoted(we recommend around 150 words):
I am very active and had 61 f1s last week and will continue to maintain such a high standard. I have a lot of experience in the role of being an admin as I have been an administrator on 4 of the servers and am currently a Super Administrator on Prop Hunt. I know how to correctly deal with rulebreakers and am benevolent whilst playing. I feel I do a good job and feel like I am able to take on the next step of becoming an SSRP Administrator. I honestly cannot find a reason why I could have been denied as "Needs more experience" is a reason that I could not disagree more with. I have heaps of experience including a month as a SSRP Moderator. If someone could clarify this it would be much appreciated.
