Moderator Questions:
A new player joins the server, how would you teach them how to surf for the first time? ~ I would ask them to go to settings and make sure that their FOV is set to the maximum. I would tell them things that they should always remember, like:“If you are on the left side of the ramp, then hold D. If you are on the right side of the ramp, then hold A. Use your mouse to aim where you want to go.” and “everybody starts somewhere, it doesn’t matter if you’re bad but you will get better as long as you have patience.” After that, if they still don’t understand, I would spectate them and give them tips on how to improve. Finally, I would give them a video that demonstrates how to surf if necessary.

What would you do if someone was text/mic spamming? ~ If someone was text/mic spamming I would insist that they stop. If they continue, I would gag/mute them for 5 minutes and tell them that what they did was against the rules, and that they would be muted longer if they broke the rule again. If they did it a second time, I would gag/mute them for 10 minutes. If they did it again I would kick them and/or ban for 24 hours if necessary.
What would you do if someone was exploiting? ~ I would tell them to stop, restart their timer and tell them that exploiting is not allowed. If they still persisted to exploit, I would either slay or kick them. I would then resort to banning them for 24 hours if needed. Lastly, I’d inform someone who could prevent the exploit being used in the future.

Personal Moderator Question:
Why I should be chosen: ~ I am attentive and will respond quickly should a situation arise. I will never act on impulse. I have previous experience staffing one of the largest Oceania gaming communities in Garry’s Mod. I am greatly knowledgeable about the rules. I definitely will not abuse my powers. I will not tolerate rulebreakers, even if they could be a friend, since to me, making sure the rules are being followed is more important. I understand the punishments I would carry out if a player happened to break the rules. I am dedicated to fulfilling my duties. I would really like to be able to further assist players and help the community by being a moderator on the surf server. Another reason I want to go for this position is because I have noticed there aren’t any staff on sometimes when there are a lot of people on the server. I have noticed a lot of mic spammers and rulebreakers so I’d like to take on this position to punish them. I would like to help enforce the rules and implement the necessary punishments.

Note: I only had 20 minutes server time today on Surf as the server was down for several hours. I wasn't on yesterday due to personal reasons. I will be more active.
