Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario:
A Guy/Girl/Other walks down the street minding their own business and then out of nowhere a person sprays them down for no legitimate reason including no RP reason. There is also
CDM which stands for
Car Death Match, where a person runs over and kills a player who is on the road/path for no reason.
Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario:
Also known as
NLR is when someone is were someone gets killed or dies and can't go back to that spot until the time limit has ended. This rule means the person who has just died has to forget everything that just happened to them in their previous life and can not go back otherwise they are breaking
NLR. Some people can break
NLR for example police in some situations, like a nuke attack or and active bank raid can come back to that area to stop it.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.
I would bring the two players to a quiet area (on top of a building) and then I would ask each of them to explain their stories one at a time. After they explain the situation, I would check the logs to see the times they were killed and whom by. Then I would enquire if possibly someone else saw what went down between the two players. If no one saw the event occur, I would ask for further evidence including other forms of evidence such as photos, videos or chatlogs. And then if x was telling the truth I would give player y a warning.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.
I would teleport both players to a quiet place (on top of a building), then I would ask each of them what happened. The person who was killed first is probably breaking
NLR, with proof or not I would give the first person who died a verbal warning and then put them back. If either one of them kept getting reported for breaking
NLR I would give them a warning.
Why I should be chosen(we recommend around 150 words):
Why I think i should be chosen to become a moderator is because I love this sever and have been hooked to it for the last 2 weeks as you can see by my activity. I believe that I could help improve the average experience on the server for players and admins alike with problems that may occur during play sessions. The community on ZARP is pretty vast and entertaining and I believe I add my own person personal twist to the community helping to diversify it even more.
I have seen on ZARP that there is a lot of RDMERS and mingers who make it difficult for the players to enjoy the server fully, and i wish to help put a stop to that; to help create an immersive experience for every individual player. My good friend Starman has said he would help mentor me on how to moderate situations and players fairly, equally and helpfully. Over the past two weeks, I have witness him deal with countless situations giving me a better perspective upon the role moderators have on the ZARP community.
I do hope to play this server for as long as i possibly can as I have truly enjoyed the experience thus far. The future of this server seems quite promising and I wish to be a part of this ever-evolving server. I appreciative the board of directors for reviewing my application to become a moderator and hope to get to work right away!
Sincerely,
Enoch Powell
