How do you feel that your time as an administrator has contributed to becoming a super administrator:
I have helped current and new staff members out by either telling them how to handle certain situations or when they ask a question related to being a staff member or how to handle a situation/ how long a punishment should be I know the answer. This does not just go for staff members I help a lot of new users that are playing on the server for the first time.
What makes you a good candidate for the super administrator team? ( in this part you can go as detailed as you want):
Active+Dedicated
I've been playing on the server for a couple of months and I'm probably one of the most active staff members on the server atm. This automatically shows I'm dedicated as I've stayed with the server and progressed up the staffing ladder. I have been helping lead team test maps and other stuff to help make ZARP deathrun a better server overall.
Trust
I think I am trusted within the staff community and within the deathrun community. I have established good relationships with the lead team members and this has benefited me as I was encouraged to write this application to become a lead team member.
Experience
As an admin i have came across every type of situation, difficult and not and have handled it in a professional and to the best of my ability.(I know i have messed up once and i have learned from this as people make mistakes and i was one of them people that day) I think having this experience can help improve new staff members as i can teach them how to properly be a staff members and teach them not to make the mistakes i have made.
Explain a situation as an administrator you encountered that was an obstacle that required the help of a lead team member but you had to work around it when no lead team member was available:
I don't think I have come across a situation i wasn't able to handle. I have asked for advice from a lead team member but a lead team member hasn't needed to stand in to control the situation.
Explain how you would review and handle an abuse report against another staff member:
Firstly I would see who is handling the demote request and if nobody is handling it I will. Then I would proceed to review the evidence given and talk to both parties to get a clear situation if they evidence isn't clear enough. ( I WILL STILL TALK TO BOTH PARTIES WITH CLEAR EVIDENCE!). After reviewing the evidence and both of there stories I will come to a final conclusion.
If its accepted
Hello, *Name* i have gone through the following evidence and have talked to both of the parties and have came to a valid conclusion.
This report has been...
The member of staff will be dealt with appropriately and thank you for the report! I am also sorry you have experienced this!
If its denied
Hello, *Name* I have revied the following evidence and have talked to both parties and have came to a final conclusion.
Your report has been...
Thank you for the report but it had been denied since there was not enough valid evidence to support your case. Since it has been denied we will lock this topic! Have a nice day!
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member bans a user for an excessive amount of time, how do you approach the staff member to ensure that everyone is treated fairly?
I would approach the staff member who issued the ban to come into team speak if not id just use chat. but i would explain that the punishment was too harsh and explain what to do next time and sort his mistake and talk about not letting anger influence how long a punishment should be as everyone should be treated equal and fairly.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member is dealing with a user but is struggling to do so in an appropriate manner. How would you resolve the situation?
I would talk to them in admin chat to calm them down and tell them how to handle the situation step by step. if the staff member is still struggling to handle the person that is breaking the rules I would intervene and take control of the situation and show the following staff member how to deal with that specific punishment step by step. after dealing with this situation I would ask the staff member if they now understand how to handle that situation if not I would go through it again until they understood.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member accuses another staff member of breaking rules, how would you help resolve the situation?
I would ask the staff member accusing another staff member what specific rule that staff member has broken. if the staff member has broken that specific rule through investigation and talking to the accused staff member and getting there side of the story. if the provided evidence doesn't show this staff member breaking the rules no further action will be taken. But if the evidence shows the accused member of staff breaking the rules it would be brought up in the lead team meeting.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member acts in a disrespectful manner towards another staff member and or sparks an argument within the staff team. How do you resolve the situation?
I would remove them both from the situation to calm them down and then talk to them individually about how staff members are supposed to work together and not be each other's enemies. if the arguing continues to the point where it starts affecting other staff members or the community demotion would be talked about in the lead team meeting.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
You spot a staff member breaking rules to the point of harming other users, how do you approach the staff member?
I would try and get the following staff member to stop breaking the rules. if this doesn't work and the situation kept escalating I would have no choice but to emergency demote them. Upon doing this I would contact the server owners and other lead-team members to let them know about the situation and it will be brought up in the following lead team meeting whether or not he/she should be a staff member or not.
