Personal Questions: How do you feel that your time as an administrator has contributed to becoming a super administrator: ~ I am aware of the fact that I have only been admin for a short time. Despite that, I believe that I can take on the responsibility of becoming a Super Admin. My activity is good and consistent. I have been quick to act when a rule breaker is spotted and I have received many thanks from those that I have helped. As an Admin, I am able to handle situations efficiently and appropriately. My previous rank and experience as a Bunny Hop admin on one of the largest Oceania servers allowed me to have all the commands a Head Administrator would have. Therefore, I know a lot about the ulx commands. What makes me a good candidate for the super administrator team: ~ I am available everyday and on the servers for hours, which makes me one of the most active staff members. I am able to maintain my activity evenly across the Deathrun and Bunny Hop servers. I am dedicated to fulfilling my duties. I have a lot of experience. I feel that I am responsible and mature enough to receive the Super Administrator rank. I balance school homework and staffing. I usually don't have any homework from school that I bring home, as I take my time at lunchtime and recess to do it. Even if I did receive homework, I am usually quick to complete it to a satisfactory degree. Because of this, I am able to commit to staffing for hours every day. I am very friendly to all players. Now I will go into detail about various qualities and achievements I possess that make me a good candidate for the super administrator team.
Dedication/Activity ~
Each day, I am able to put in at least 2-6 hours for the servers after school. I am on at least 5-18 hours on the weekends. I am always keeping a close eye on other players and assisting those that need help. I am dedicated to giving to the server, by staffing on it. My activity is very high and I intend on keeping it that way.
I have always been a confident and trustworthy leader, whether that be outside of Zarp or inside of Zarp. I have many personal achievements as a result of leadership, By being a staff member, I am a leader. I am able to positively influence fellow players. I help people that are in need, and I don’t expect anything back in return.Leadership ~
Experience ~
Throughout my years of gaming, I have gained all sorts of staff positions, ranging across a wide variety of games. I am currently Deathrun Admin. The community that I was staff on prior to joining Zarp was PlayboxAU, which was a community that hosted Deathrun, Bunny Hop and Flood servers. I was staff there for 6 months, and during that time, I gained a lot of experience and knowledge. I was Deathrun Moderator, Bunny Hop Admin and Flood Senior Administrator (Manager). I came across numerous situations and I was able to work around them easily and appropriately.
Teamwork/Reliability ~
It makes me happy that I have other staff, whom I know I can rely on in times of need. In turn, I expect that they know they can rely on me as well. When fellow staff ask me for help, I am always willing to help them. During my time on Playbox, I was able to collaborate with other staff to create various rules and ideas that’d improve the server. I was also able to successfully create documents working alongside other staff, that go into detail about the ULX commands, how to use them and how to properly punish rulebreakers.
Responsive ~
I am always quick to respond when there is a problem. If a player happens to break the rules, I woils carry out the appropriate punishments accordingly. I do not hesitate, but I do not act on impulse either. Not only do I respond quick to problems, I also respond quickly to almost everything. I can handle a moderate amount of stress, and still maintain my composure.
Responsibility ~
I will never frame someone else if I happen to do something wrong. I would own up to my mistakes. I take full responsibility for all my actions. If I make mistakes, I take precautions to make sure the same mistake doesn’t occur again. I have only used commands when necessary and appropriate.

General Administrator Questions:
A situation as an administrator I had to work around when no lead team member was available: ~ I haven’t run into any situations where I needed a lead team member. I was able to handle all situations efficiently and appropriately. But if I spotted a hacker on the Bunny Hop server and there was no lead team member on at the time, I would gather as much video evidence of the player hacking as possible. I would also get evidence of the hacker's Steam ID and profile. After, I would inform a lead team member about the hacker as soon as possible once they are online. How I would review and handle an abuse report against another staff member: ~ I would read the report and then talk to the staff member then, ask them why they abused. I’d explain to them why they shouldn’t abuse. After that, I would come to a conclusion whether the report is accepted or denied. If the abuse report was accepted - Warning: Spoiler! [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ] Hello <player name>, After looking thoroughly through the evidence, I can see that it clearly shows the staff member abusing. I have spoken to the staff member about the consequences of abusing. They recognise their fault and are truly apologetic for their actions. I have come to a conclusion that this report will be accepted. Thank you for writing this report. If the abuse report was denied - Warning: Spoiler! [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ] Hello <player name>, I have looked through this report and have tried to retrieve as much information possible. But it seems like there is not enough evidence for any action to be taken towards this staff member. I have come to a conclusion that this report will be denied. Thank you for writing this report. A staff member bans a user for an excessive amount of time, how I would approach the staff member to ensure that everyone is treated fairly: ~ I would approach and speak to the staff member, asking them why the player was banned for an excessive amount of time. In order to prevent this from happening again, I would make sure they understand how long they are supposed to ban the player for breaking the rule(s), and that the staff member apologises to the banned player. Finally, I would lower or remove the user’s ban. A staff member is dealing with a user but is struggling to do so in an appropriate manner. How I would resolve the situation: ~ Firstly, I would take control of the situation, and give the appropriate punishment to the user. I would then inform the staff member about having the right attitude when dealing with other players. I would make sure the staff member knows how to act in further situations, and keep an eye out on them when I see them on the server in order to ensure they are doing the right thing. A staff member accuses another staff member of breaking rules, how I would resolve the situation: ~ I would talk to the staff member that accused the other staff member of breaking rules. I look through any proof that is provided. If there is no proof provided, I would then go to see the other side of the story from the accused staff member. Then, I would come to a conclusion whether a punishment should be necessary or not. A staff member acts in a disrespectful manner towards another staff member and or sparks an argument within the staff team. I would resolve the situation: ~ I would try to calm the situation down, by breaking up the argument and telling them to stop. I would speak to both of the staff members to gain a better understanding of what happened and then explain why the staff member who is being disrespectful is doing the wrong thing. I would make sure they understand what the consequences of their actions could be the next time they act in this way again. Finally, to ensure, the situation doesn’t occur again, I would keep watch on both of them. A staff member is breaking rules to the point of harming other users, how I would approach the staff member: ~ Firstly, I would speak to the staff member and tell them to stop. Then, I would make sure he recognizes his mistakes and understand that the rules were made for everyone, meaning that they should be followed even if you are a staff member. Finally, to ensure the situation doesn’t occur again, I would watch over the staff member whenever I see them on the server. |
