Explain a situation where it would be appropriate to use the ban command:
Let's say that Player A has done a "Mass RDM" in the server in the past 2 rounds. You have been giving him warning's about it and you say that he will get banned if he continues with the "Mass RDM". In the third round you have been spectating Player A to check if he mass RDM's again. In the third round he does a Mass RDM again, then he leaves the server to avoid punishment. You decide that Player A has gotten enough warnings and he left the server to avoid punishment. He has gotten enough warnings to be banned for it. (That's a example for when it's appropriate to use the ban command)
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for Cheating, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?
Cheating is bad in any game, it ruins the game for others. But my response to that would be to lift the ban a little bit. Instead of permament ban from the server, I would put it to one week. It would be better to ban him for a week than to ban him forever. He would serve a punishment but also at the same time, get his wish.
My response:
Player X, thank you for the ban appeal. It was wrong of you to cheat in the server. It may have ruined some peoples opinion on the game, but I can see that you regret to cheat in the game. Talking with the admin that banned you, we have decided to accept your ban appeal.
But we have also decided to make this decision, we will lift off your permament ban and put it to a one week ban. Even though you regret your decision to cheat in the game, you still need to get punished for the cheating. Why you ask? It is to make sure that if other people want to cheat in the game, it wont go unpunished even though they're are very sorry about it.
Why I should be promoted:
I should be promoted to a Admin since I believe that I have gotten enough experience to apply for one, I have learnt better of the ulx menu, getting along with the other staff and had a good time in the server. But if I get promoted to admin I could do more for the server and the community. My goal since I started as a mod was to make sure that players will enjoy the time in the server. If I get chosen to become a Admin it helps me more to achieve that goal that I have been trying to achieve in my time as a Mod.
