I was in an inaccessible place in the nether (that little corner which you can get to by running before the round starts).

From past experience I've seen community members, including staff, do it for the fun of it.

So pretty much we were messing around with an another staff member, Dodo interrupted by slaying me without asking any questions or even speaking to me.

Keep in mind that I wasn't interrupting with other players, nor was I gaining any type of advantage.

I told him that he should'd teleported me instead, but he responded with something among the lines of "should had doesn't mean have to" (I really do think he broke staff ethos as it really wasn't necessary to ruin a player's experience by slaying them when a teleport was enough)

That's pretty much the whole story from my point of view.

It actually is because if it wasn't it would kill you, remember if you somehow die during pre-round you get respawned...

If that spot was intended to be reachable there would be a way to reach it while the round is on. You can't honestly be trying to say its not an exploit to abuse the fact you can't take damage from lava pre round.
