So pretty much we were messing around with an another staff member, Dodo interrupted by slaying me without asking any questions or even speaking to me.

Keep in mind that I wasn't interrupting with other players, nor was I gaining any type of advantage.

I told him that he should'd teleported me instead, but he responded with something among the lines of "should had doesn't mean have to" (I really do think he broke staff ethos as it really wasn't necessary to ruin a player's experience by slaying them when a teleport was enough)

That's pretty much the whole story from my point of view.
