What is Ghosting? and give an example: Ghosting is when someone gives the alive runner(s) information that could be crucial to winning whilst that person is dead/spectating. Example: Player 1 is alive. Player 2 is dead/spectating. They are playing on the map Helix. Player 1 is at the part where the code is needed for the 123,456,789 area near the end. The button has already been pressed and player 2 saw the button being used by someone else who knows it. Player 2 shouts in voice chat/text chat:
"179"
Player 1 then moves onto winning the round because of that info the dead/spectating player has given them.
That is ghosting.
How would you deal with a disrespectful player?: At first, I would politely ask them to stop disrespecting. If the player disrespecting is disrespecting another non-staff member, I would tell them to stop, if they continue I will take action upon it. If the player is disrespecting a staff member, I would tell them to stop instantly or they will be warned. If they continue after the warn and don't stop, I would proceed to kicking them if needed. If I am unsure about my decisions, I would ask another mod/higher up rank if my decision is correct. (in only some scenarios)
Why I should be chosen: I should be chosen because of the following:
I have been a previous mod/admin. I got mod in near summer 2016, a few weeks later I became admin.
I know when and how to warn players in certain scenarios.
I know how to use the ULX menu correctly.
I know how to behave correctly in certain situations, and behave in general.
I am a mature person and I don't get mad at others for something they do wrong.
I know what banned exploits/skips there are, secrets that are banned (such as the family guy one with the garbage thing), how to manage other players.
I know what to do when another staff member is abusing/disrespecting etc. because of past experience.
I have had alot of past experience as I was a staff member until early 2017, but I want to come back and help the community more than before, and make sure the deathrun community is happy and there aren't many rule breakers.
(I also don't break rules :3)
I had a recent death avoid warning, but it got removed as it was an accident and I proved myself sorry (I went to get a drink.)
According to the F1 > Activity menu, these are my minutes as minutes, and converted to hours:
1087 minutes - 18.11667 hours (total time)
1019 minutes - 16.98333 hours (weekly time)
Also, I will be on the server everday as time goes on.
Thanks for reading my application for moderator.
