Surf Server
Estimated Server Time:
By the end of the week, at least 10 hours. As of right now, it would be about 2 or 3.
Languages I speak:
English and Google Translate
Someone new joins the server, explain how you would show them how to Surf for the first time:
First I would ask them to spectate me, and as I am going through one of the maps I would ask if they notice me doing anything over and over again. If they guess correctly, I would elaborate on why certain things can make you go faster and make the maps smoother. I would let them know about the different "modes" that are available and would suggest that they test unreal first. It can give speed when needed and is great for first timers.
Explain what you would do if someone was Text/Mic Spamming:
I would give him a verbal warning, let him know that this is his only chance. If it continues I will mute him for 5 minutes. If it continues after that, it will increase to 10. And so on and so forth.
Explain how you would deal with someone using an exploit on the server:
I would give them a warning, tell them that what they are doing is against the server rules, and remind them to read them. If they attempt to continue the exploit I would kick him for exploiting. If he returns and attempts to continue, a temporary ban will be given (by a higher up).
Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 75 words):
Surf is a very fun game mode, and I would love to moderate on it. I'm always up to helping people out when they need it, and making sure that the server is running smoothly. With my timezone, I am able to play when most of the other staff members are asleep. I also feel as though it is time to start branching out from SSRP and attempt to play other servers, and prove myself through those. Surf is extremely fun (although very irritating) and I would love to be a staff member on more servers that I can enjoy. I can bring a lot to the table as a staff member, and I always make sure to get the job done well.
