How would you handle a TS3 appeal?:
Firstly, I would state that I am handling the appeal and then I would start with speaking to the staff member who banned them and then proceed in a delicate manner towards handling the appeal. If the appeal is accepted then it would be like this:
Hello A, I have spoken to the staff member that banned you and considering this was your first offense, we have decided to lift your ban but please refrain from breaking TOU again.
And if it was denied then it would be:
Hello B, I have spoken with the staff member who banned you and you have repeatedly been breaking TOU. Your ban was perfectly valid and will not be removed.
Explain some of the administrative features of TS3 and when they're used
appropriately:
There are quite a lot of features of TeamSpeak 3, below are the examples:
Set server Group:
Set Server Group allows TeamSpeak members give a specified badge with their appropriate server. This is useful for TeamSpeak/LT members to train new mods and admins to give them their specified badge to show they are staff on their related server. These come in same colours for Administrators, Super Admins and Head Admins but for a Moderator position, they come in different colours.
Set Channel Group:
Set channel group is for TeamSpeak Head Admins to use when creating a new gang channel for an SSRP gang that has been accepted for the TeamSpeak server. This is only given to gang leaders of the gang that was accepted and that's quite it.
Permissions Overview:
This is mainly for TeamSpeak Head Admins to use for other staff to check permissions with the designated TeamSpeak server. This is not to be used to discern other TeamSpeak staff from their duties.
Kick Client From Channel:
Kick Client from Channel allows TeamSpeak staff to kick a client to the Lobby/AFK room. This is considered a warning and should only be used to kick people who micspam/chatspam and have them in the Lobby room. This is also a basic command to be used against rulebreakers and doesn't cause any permanent issues as it just takes them to Lobby room. This is only used for minor rulebreaks and not major ones like racism and disrespect.
Kick Client From Server:
Kick Client from Server is just like kicking from channel but it kicks them off the actual TeamSpeak server in the case they can join back and this also counts as an advanced warning to them for minor rulebreaks that can be severe sometimes.
Ban Client:
Ban Client is a feature to ban people from the TeamSpeak server for a time limit. This can go from 1 second to a permanent ban. Perm bans should only be done if the member is ban evading on an alt due to a ban from their main. For bans like racism, this can be from a kick to a reasonable ban length and should only be used in mass rulebreaks, ddos threats and/or racism.
Delete User's Avatar:
Delete user's avatar is used to delete an avatar if their avatar is a TOU breaking incident. This should be used only for avatars and not fun but can be also helpful if somebody was rulebreaking from their avatar being TOU-Breaking.
That is the gist of commands used by TeamSpeak staff and hope it helps.
What would I do different with my new powers? (we recommend around 50 words):
I would use my powers differently in TOU Breaking situations but also to train and help new TeamSpeak staff members which is a very useful way to interact with them and help them get set up with their rank. As TeamSpeak Head Admin, I would be able to handle report abuses against TeamSpeak staff members just like TeamSpeak appeals. For an Accepted report abuse, it would go like this:
Hello A, I have spoken to the staff member about the <issues mentioned> and they have understood what they done was wrong with their powers. Thank you for making this report.
If it was a denied report it would go like this:
Hello B, I have spoken to the staff member and this has been denied as you was constantly breaking rules and their powers was used appropriately in this situation. Please refrain from breaking rules in the future.
EXTRA CREDIT: How much does Tyler sell client Icons for?:
50 million SSRP Cash.
