How do you feel that your time as an administrator has contributed to becoming a super administrator:
My time as an administrator has contributed alot to me becoming a super administrator. I've learnt how to deal with situations that come as a challenge and how to get the best result. Me being as an admin allowed me to develop key leader ship skills that I can bring with me where ever I go. As my time as admin I have received many criticism which has helped me into developing into a better staff member over these month. And I did my best to improve where ever I could.
What makes you a good candidate for the super administrator team?:
My time with the community
I'm part of this community since late 2015 and I was always known for being a nice person who enjoys helping out. I've first experienced what it was to be a staff member on Zarp in November 2015 when I got moderator for the first time. It was a huge learning curve for me as my English wasn't the best and I was quite new to the server. However it was great. In the early 2016 I've achieved the administrator rank. This was the time when I felt fully a part of the community. I've started contributing on the forums and in meetings. Interesting fact it was me Biwx and Codeah who came up with the idea of having a progress spreadsheet in the meetings. However in the mid 2016 I've lost a little dedication and spare time so I had to resign as I didn't wanted to let the team down. However I'm back for almost 6 month and I feel ready to take the super administrator rank aboard.
Forums
I'm a very active member of the Zarp forums. I mainly handle appeals and report abuses however I do read alot of other posts. If I see any unsure users or anyone who needs help I'm there nearly all the time.
TeamSpeak
I'm on Teamspeak everyday and I'm always ready when ever someone needs help.
Trust
I'm well trusted with powers, at the moment I'm holding SSRP Admin and Forum Moderator. There have never been any trust issues in the past with me as I never miss used any of my powers. I have also never been banned from any Zarp servers including TeamSpeak and the Forums.
Dedication
I'm a very dedicated member of the Zarp community. I handle Reports And appeals on a daily basis and I always try my best to catch rulebreakers or help staff members out when ever I can. I have never been talked to about my activity in the past. I know many of you will bring up my recent resignation how ever that was purely because of me having exams coming up and I got a bit too worried about not going to be good enough for the staff team and I will let it down however I've decided since I missed Zarp so much I will half my time. But my resignation was never because I've lost dedication.
Meetings
I have attended every single meeting since I became a staff member and I'm looking for keeping it the same way. I really enjoy the SSRP meetings and I feel like they pay a very important role within the staff team and choosing new staff members.
Overall
I know there have been issues with me in the past but I've done my best to improve on what ever I could. I know many people have realised this already. At the moment I feel completely ready for the promotion and looking back at the past I now completely understand why I got denied how ever my attitude and immaturity has completely blinded me back then.
Explain a situation as an administrator you encountered that was an obstacle that required the help of a lead team member but you had to work around it when no lead team member was available:
The biggest obstacle I have to encounter as an administrator is that many staff members completely ignore me when I would like to talk to them about something. And when there is no Lead Team members online it's a very difficult task to work around it. When this has happened I tried to handle the situation the best as I could do as a staff member only having limited powers. I've tried my best to get both parties together as both of them were refusing but at the end a managed to do so. When this was done I managed to make a compromise that satisfied both parties and ended the argument which was a great thing that I'm very proud of.
Explain how you would review and handle an abuse report against another staff member:
First of all I would review the Report in great detail and take a good look in the evidence provided. After this is done, I will contact the staff member that is effected. I will ask the staff member about his side of the story and what made the user into creating this report abuse. After this is done I would write a verdict to the report abuse explaining what will happen.
If the staff member was found guilty of doing something wrong however it was an accident, I would only talk to him but not bring him up for an official warning. How ever if this does happen again I would bring the staff member up for a demotion or official warning.
If the staff member was found guilty how ever refuses to co-operate and shows a bad attitude I would bring him up for an official warning or demotion in the meeting.
If the staff member was found guilty and he did something that massively affected other players I would issue an emergency demotion and bring him up in the meeting.
If the staff member is innocent I would explain it to the user why the report is being denied and there will be no action taken against the staff member.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member bans a user for an excessive amount of time, how do you approach the staff member to ensure that everyone is treated fairly?
I would ask the staff member to come on Teamspeak so I can talk to him. I would explain it to him in great detail why the ban is excessive and how he should handle situations like this. If he improves on what I say and this doesn't happen again no action will be taken against the staff member. If this continuous to happen I would bring the staff member up in the meeting and if he can't be stopped until the meeting I would take his rank.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member is dealing with a user but is struggling to do so in an appropriate manner. How would you resolve the situation?
I would first join in the sit and help the staff member deal with the situation. After the situation has been done, I would have a brief discussion with the staff member on how he should deal with situations like that and what he can improve on to make it better for himself and the user. If he is still struggling I would retrain him.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member accuses another staff member of breaking rules, how would you help resolve the situation?
First thing I would do is to make sure there is no argument is sparked within the team. I would ask the the staff member who is accusing the other staff member for his story and if he has any evidence to back it up. After he has done that I would approach the other staff member who is being accused for his side of the story. If the accused staff member is turned out to be breaking rules I would deal with him accordingly such as bring him up in the meeting or just simply talking to him.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member acts in a disrespectful manner towards another staff member and or sparks an argument within the staff team. How do you resolve the situation?
First I would stop the argument as soon as I can then I would ask the staff member who was acting disrespectful to come on Teamspeak. I would talk to him about his unacceptable behaver and that they should work together as a team not seeking for arguments. If that staff member is known to have a bad attitude I would bring him up in the meeting for an official warning.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
You spot a staff member breaking rules to the point of harming other users, how do you approach the staff member?
I would get him to get on Teamspeak as soon as I can and I would talk to him about his actions and that he needs to stop what he is doing right now. If it seems like he will stop and he didn't go too far I would wait until the meeting and bring him up for a demotion however if he didn't seem to listen and went too far I would issue an emergency demotion until the meeting. But my number one priority will be to stop him effecting others and I would also keep a close eye on him through out the week.
