Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin:
During my (roughly) four weeks of being a moderator, I've dealt with various forms of rule-breaking, such as micspam and player disrespect, and I believe that I've learnt how to deal with them effectively and the appropriate punishments for each.

Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user):
One situation was where there was a user on the server making racist remarks, disrespecting others and generally being a nuisance. Due to the limits of what a mod can do, I had to ask an admin to come and ban the user for me.

If you had to write a letter to train a moderator in between 100-200 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?:

Congratulations on becoming a part of the bhop staff team! In order to help you get accustomed to your new position as quickly as possible, here's a brief explanation of all the commands at your disposal and which situations to use them in.
- Chat mute | /chatmute (player): this command will prevent the player from using the text chat on the server for a specified amount of time, or indefinitely. Normally used when someone is spamming in chat or being racist/disrespectful.
- Global mute | /voicemute (player): this command will prevent the player from using their microphone on the server for a specified amount of time, or indefinitely. Normally used when someone is micspamming.
- Freeze | /freeze (player): this command prevents a player from moving for a specified amount of time, or indefinitely. It's not really necessary on the bhop server.
- Slay | /slay (player) [type] : this command force kills a player. It's not really used in any situation.
- Strip Weapons | /stripweapons (player): this command removes all weapons from a player. It is used when someone spams guns.
- Kick | /kick (player) [reason] : this command removes a player from the server, but they can still rejoin afterwards. It's used when someone is exploiting and/or has received several punishments beforehand and continues to break rules.
All commands can be performed via clicking on a player's name in the tab menu, or through chat commands. () represents a required parameter, and [] represents an optional parameter.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for Cheating, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?
I would get in contact with the staff member which is handling the appeal, and give my opinion on whether they should be unbanned and an explanation of events. If the player is unbanned, I would warn them that they will be banned again if they break any serious rules, and that it is very unlikely they will be let off twice.

Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 100 words):
I'm #3 on the server, meaning I'm very active, and I've been playing on the server for close to a year now. I know lots of regular players and like to interact with community, meaning I can help with suggestions for the server and I can see situations from a player's perspective as well as from a staff member's. I feel that I could contribute more to the server than I currently do if I received more powers, such as the ability to ban, since I currently have to ask someone else to do it, which is time-consuming and inefficient, as they can just leave the server before the admin arrives. I'm also trustworthy and mature; I like to joke around with players when I can, but when necessary I am very calm and strict.

I recently made an inactivity notice, although the situation is being resolved and I'm as active as possible right now, still above the minimum hours. In a week or two I'll be back to full activity.
