Estimated Server Time: 115 hours Languages I speak: English, bit of Spanish How do you feel that your time as an administrator has contributed to becoming a super administrator: In my time as administrator i have dealt with many rulebreakers and I feel i have gained alot of knowledge in how to deal with situations correctly. I have been staff for over a month in total and in this time i have familiarised myself with both the staff team and the player base. What makes you a good candidate for the super administrator team? ( in this part you can go as detailed as you want): Activity I easily surpass the minimum requirement every week (apart from this week pls no hate <3) as I love the murder gamemode and love helping out, My activity has even got me to 7th on gametracker. I am kinda active on TS and active on the forums so I am always available to handle reports and appeals. Experience + Trust By the time of the meeting I will have been staff for a month and admin for 3 weeks, aswell as being mod in January this has given me quite a lot of experience in how to handle the situations on Murder. I was also deathrun Admin for almost 3 months and TTT mod giving me alot of experience there aswell. During my time staffing I have never received an Official warning/demotion or even a Report Abuse giving me trust as a staff member. My Plans 1. Create a frendlier / more fun evironment for all players - Improve the way we punish players, let them know what they're doing is wrong and help them learn from their mistakes to help prevent them doing it again. - Get rid of timefarming, staffing is something you volounteer to do, there is no point in being staff when people are only going to afk for their hours. - Up the minimum requirement from 2 hours to 3 hours, this helps improve the productivity off the staff team. - Improve the training of Moderators - give them in game scenarios for them to deal with and teach them the right thing to do for that situation - Introduce a system where players vote on their least favourite map each week/month so we can replace it with better maps to improve peoples experience on the server 2. Improve peoples playing experience - Reward people for playing, the player count is one of the biggest things we need to improve so here are some ideas; - things such as MOTM system, - Random points drops every map ( 1k 3k 5k maybe), - With every level up we could award +5 health maybe increasing points starting from 100 - Leaderboards, give players motivation to play (top 3 each week could earn rewards) - Give staff motivation to play/staff, things such as; - SOTW, maybe one mod of the week admin of the week and LT of the week. (staff could earn rewards from this) Explain a situation as an administrator you encountered that was an obstacle that required the help of a lead team member but you had to work around it when no lead team member was available: I was once online with a moderator who was being disrespectful to a user in game, I couldn't do much as an admin but try to calm him down so I messaged a LT member who brought it up in the LT meeting. If I was SA i could've dealt with it there and then or I could jave brought it up in the LT meeting myself Explain how you would review and handle an abuse report against another staff member: I would firstly comment on the report saying I would be handling it and then i would review it and look at the evidence (At this point if there is no sufficient evidence provided and the staff member tells me that the report is invalid as the events didn't occur then i would have to deny it - see denied report example) . If it all looks good I would contact the user who made the report on Steam/TS and ask about the situation. After listening to the user's side of the story I would contact the Staff Member in question over Steam/TS and listen to what they have to say. After speaking with you and the staff member in question aswell as looking at the evidence I have come to the conclusion that this report will be There is not enough evidence hear to prove that these events did infact occur therefore I can't accept this This can be locked Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: A staff member bans a user for an excessive amount of time, how do you approach the staff member to ensure that everyone is treated fairly? I would firstly look at the punishment the Staff member banned this user for and see if it is justified (for example if they banned a user for LTAP for 2 weeks that would be too much). I would then tell the staff member that this ban length is too excessive and tel them an appropriate length so they would know for next time. After I would edit the ban length to something more suitable and contact him knowing his ban has been changed. Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: A staff member is dealing with a user but is struggling to do so in an appropriate manner. How would you resolve the situation? Like I've seen before, if a staff member isn't handling a situation in an appropriate manner I would contact them through admin chat explaining to them what they have done wrong and in the situation I've encountered before I would change their warning to what it should be. Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: A staff member accuses another staff member of breaking rules, how would you help resolve the situation? I would firstly speak to the staff member who is accusing the other staff member and hear what they have to say aswell as looking at any evidence they have, If there is insufficient evidence I would tell the staff member that there is not much that can be done because we only have their word for it, but if their is sufficient evidence then I would talk to the Staff member breaking the rules and let them know what they are doing is breaking Staff Ethos and affecting everyone on the server, I would then bring them up in the LT meeting. Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: A staff member acts in a disrespectful manner towards another staff member and or sparks an argument within the staff team. How do you resolve the situation? I would firstly contact them both separately on Ts/Steam and talk to them both hoping they will both calm down and at this point we can work to resolve the situation so they can stop arguing and let me know about the problem so we can stop the conflicts in the staff team. I would also let the other LT know about the situation that has occured in the LT meeting Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: You spot a staff member breaking rules to the point of harming other users, how do you approach the staff member? I would first ask them to join TS or contact me on steam where i would politely explain to them that what they are doing is unacceptable and is affecting the Users on the servers experience. If it is something like exploiting then I would keep an eye on them to make sure they don't exploit again and also bring it up in the LT meeting but if they are abusing their powers such as randomly banning people then I would contact a head admin letting them know and see if an emergency demotion is needed, then when the staff member is dealt with I would unban all the players and apologise for the staff member's actions.
